Oh, don't worry about outgrowing the series. If it makes any of you feel any better, I am 20 years old and I started reading these books when I was just about 18. So if I like them, other adults even older than myself like them, and you already like them, you probably won't outgrow them.

The Baudlaires have been in the "care" of V.F.D. from the fire to V.F.D.(the run in with Oliva was a "lucky" accident). We never knew Olaf was as evil as he is or we would not have sent the children to stay with him.
