Have you had any work done? Would you ever get any done? Why/why not?

I have had a tiny (less than 0.5ml) Juvederm in my lips since I was 21. Only topped up once and I'm super happy with them, no one knows I've had filler unless I tell them
I had braces as a kid (but they weren't really cosmetic)
Considering maybe starting with a tiny amount of botox in the next few years since I can already see a few tiny fine lines appearing on my forehead
I used to really want a nose job when I was around 14-17, but I grew into my face as an adult a lot since then, and now I wouldn't touch it. I don't think I'd have any procedure that involves general anesthetic (like a breast augmentation or any kind of facial surgery) due to the risks and cost

No and I prefer showing natural signs of age. The first and so far the only sign of aging I've noticed on me is a fine line appearing from the corner of my nose to the edge of my mouth.
I've never needed braces, but I briefly considered Invisalign to improve some slight crookedness, but finally I just shrugged it off. The only instance I would consider getting something surgically fixed would be skin blemishes if I'd somehow gotten any noticeable ones.
What is Juvederm, and why would you get it as young as 21, Bee? (A quick Google search says it's anti-aging?)

It can be used for anti-aging, but in my case I got it to make my lips look fuller. I'd like to embrace natural aging too, but I think society has double standards with this for men and women. I'm still young and looking a certain way affords a lot of privilege and advantage. Its a bit of a double edged sword and something I struggle with actually.

I think it would just feel like cheating.
Also I got asked for my ID this month for buying a lighter so I don't think I have to worry about looking too old.

my mom has had botox and a nose job, i have always liked my nose and i dont want fillers or anything, i have started to show a fine line on my forehead and tbh it does piss my vain ass off but i dont want to spend the money on botox and also kinda on principle dont wanna pay into the youth worshipping anti aging industry but i totally understand when people do, and especially trans people getting gender affirming procedures im totally supportive
