If you don't know what I'm talking about, tell me, but I think the lining/middle part, is mushrooms...*looks closer at book cover*. Yes; THH- Heartbeat measuer TMM- swirlies for Klaus being hypnotized TBB- a bunch of eyes TRR- snakes And yes it's mushrooms; I used a program on my computer where you can zoom in and I zoomed in 200% and it definatly looks like muchrooms; I'll post the zoomed-in pic if you like. |

Yes it does seem to be snow gnats. But maybe they just want you to wait and guess about the mushrooms untill the book.

I'm glad people know what I'm talking about. I printed it out really big, and it's still snow gnats, I guess he just hasn't changed it yet. I hope he changes it soon...!

When they did the "art too depressing" thing for TSS, it showed carnival tickets around, I think (from TCC) So when the actual cover is released, it won't be snow gnats. I guess he just doesn't want to give too much away. |

People, that is the cover of THE SLIPPERY SLOPE with a blacked out middle and some typing in it. Its official to give you a teaser of what to expect (basically, the bind color). Otherwise, there is nothing different but the title. Thats it, thats all, its an advertisement. the real cover will be different.
My guess, too, is mushrooms.

8O Have you guys noticed that the covers have been getting kind of lighter since TEE? I mean the first 5 were really dark!! But te slippery slope is kind of dark too... So I dont know maybe it's a sign of a happy ending??
