in TGG when they see that the message is also addressed to j.s, "Etratsigam!" Sunny said, and her siblings quickly explained that she meant "The initails were J.S."

If you spell 'Etratsigam' backwards, you get 'magistrate.' ..
does this mean that (spoiler)

jusstice struss really was j.s?

any theories on this.

Personally, I think that clue's just intended to confuse us. Justice Strauss was referred to as JS in TPP, but she wasn't the JS for whom the fridge message was intended.

Sunny has spelled words backwards in the past; it's just part of her manner of speaking.

We may be able to dismiss this connection as being something Sunny's subconscious made - or as a red herring.

We were already talking about who J.S. is in this thread, so you'd best go there to discuss it - although if somebody were to start a thread with a title such as "Who is/was J.S.?" for general speculation rather than a particular possibility, then I would probably use that instead.
