ok, i reread TPP and i picked up on some new clues n stuff. but in the newsletter that the harper collins site sent out it said " that was Beatrice" or something like that. so i'm guessing that that means Beatrice made an apearence in TPP. when i was reading TPP LS said that the Bauds. heard a familiar voice in the crowds of the hotel, so i'm guessing that it could have been Beatrice. heh heh heh.

They've pretty much never heard Beatrice's voice. Before people say she's their mom, I say this because I don't think that she's their mom.

People who may want revenge: 1) Kit for Dewey's death 2) Duncan on Quigley and Violet 3) Olaf on the Bauds because their parents may have killed his parents and seem to have at least played some part in his death. 4) Any survivors of the fire on the Bauds and Olaf.

The Baudelaire parents don't need to be much older than Olaf, and the murder didn't necessarily occur in his childhood. I mean, consider, Mrs. Baudelaire can't be that old since she had a child very recently. Olaf would want revenge against them certainly but perhaps his tirades were then directed against any and all who he considered associated with them: The snickets, the Quagmires, all on the put-out fire side of VFD received his full hatred and so this may explain his constant pyromania. The timing with this is skewed and uncertain, as always.
