The Quagmires, in my mind, are most likely to return, but we can also expect most of the others to come into play too.

Fiona: Perhaps she will return, because most of the characters that were mentioned in previous books have already come back. There were some hints of her return, implication and whatnot, but there's no concrete proof. We can probably expect her to come up again.

Captain Widdershins: I doubt it. I seriously doubt it. That's all I can say.

Quigley, Duncan and Isadora: They are most likely to come back, in my opinion. Plus, if Quigley doesn't they don't, I'm going to have a heart attack and die, like so many other people. There's a very good chance of their arrival, because of Quigley's telegram, what Kit told the Baudelaires about Quigley, and general evidence. There's nothing pointing straight at their reappearance, but there's certainly an implication that Snicket is going to get them back to the Baudelaires some time in the thirteenth book.

Kit: If she doesn't die, I'm pretty sure she's coming back.

Wwhbnb/Mwbbnh : They'll probably come back towards the end of the book, for "dark" purposes. Maybe that'll be the time when someone gets killed, or something.


Taxi Driver: Possibly, since they've been mentioned throughout the series. But then again, I wouldn't count on it.

The only ones I don't think will return are the man with a beard but no hair and the woman with hair but no beard. However, I suppose it would be possible for Handler to cut out the entire Widdershins family, and their subplot, altogether, if they didn't fit into B13 as he liked. I'd be disappointed if that happened, though.

I picked The Quags, but i suspect that kit, widdershins, and fiona will also be seen again...

I think that the quaqs are going to come back, but I have a feeling that we are going to see the taxi driver again. I just don't know why.

I really disagree with you on the part about Fiona, Kit, and the taxi. Now Fiona and Klaus ARE NOT A COUPLE!!!!!! (and more likely after what she did, they're not gonna be friends for a while) Let's remember Dewey Denouement's death for a minute, Handler/Snicket killed him off in a heartbeat. Handler/Snicket is free to kill off anyone who he pleases, (including Kit, and you know he killed off Jacques) he comes up with the stuff. You know, not every mystery in Handler/Snicket's world is solved, and the sugar bowl mystery (as much as I want to know and hate to say) shouldn't have to be solved.
