Dante's away, so i s'pose we could talk about it here, until it gets moved to MM. You know, I dislike the "Take advantage of the mod's absence" mentality. Especially when it doesn't really make sense because there are two mods. But I do quite like pirates. I guess this is the general pirate appreciation/speculation thread. Pirates fit in nicely with the general anachronisticness of the series, and I'm looking forward to actually meeting some in Book 13, as they've been mentioned before. I wonder if the FFP will be allies of the VFD, or enemies, or completely unconnected and ambiguous. In the RE notes, Lemony mentions a geologist of his acquaintance contacting them, which I think is evidence, though it's rather tenuous, that they're at least not opposed to VFD. |

As Antenora pointed out, this section has two moderators, not one. And as SnicketFires has pointed out, we do have a thread for the F.F.P. already. And this isn't even aSoUE-related, it's just about pirates in general, so it doesn't even merit a thread in this category. I mean, I like pirates too. I think they're great. I like the idea of the F.F.P. too. But I can't overlook this: Dante's away, so i s'pose we could talk about it here, until it gets moved to MM. I've warned you, or someone like you, about this attitude before. I hope I will not have to do it again. Locked. |
