Prufrock Prep shut down?

I have picked up on something that may be important while i was reading TAA.

At the beginning of chapter six it say "Prufrock Preparatory School is now closed. It has been for years, ever since Mrs. bass was arrested for bank robbery..."
When i read this it made me think of the stolen money in TPP that MRS. Bass had stolen.
This leads me to think that this may have been the bank robbery that closed down Prufrock Prep.
I think this is why MRS. Bass changed her appearance in TPP with the wig and the mask.

So is Pufrock Prep closed or not???

We discussed this here before TPP came out, and more recently here, which is probably the best place to discuss it, as it involves just about everything you've mentioned. Yes, it's fairly obvious that the stolen money Mrs. Bass had in TPP was from the bank robbery in question, and after she was arrested, Prufrock Prep. was closed down. She changed her appearance because she's running from the law. The precise timing of when Prufrock Prep. closed is up for discussion in the second thread I linked here.
