I found a message!

I just wanted to to know if anyone else had found any coded messages, and find out what ya'll thought of one I found.
I don't have TPP, but I was reading some of it in a bookstore when I found the code, and a friend finished decoding it for me. It's in the third chapter, right when the bell behind the desk starts ringing. Frank (or Ernest) says:
"Ring!" laughed Frank (or Ernest) "Ring!"
It's obviously the Sebald Code, and here is the message: I can't tell if you are in or enemies.
I don't have the page number yet... hopefully I'll get it soon. If you have a copy of the book, you can look it up for yourself.

Yeah, noticed, I'm afraid. And speculated on in, oh, too many threads, although it was never a major part of them. Probably first mentioned in the Official Book Twelve Discussion Thread. The most recent semi-official Sebald thread I can remember is this one, although there are likely others. Next time anyone wants to talk about the Sebald Code, I'd recommend they go over to Anguished Appendices, start a nice little thread called something simple like "Sebald Code" and make the general subject be to talk about the Sebald Code and list examples. Or just one about Coded Messages in general. Because I don't really like to make threads about subject Z-3 into one about subject Z in general. If that makes any sense.
