Maybe I missed something in book 12, but did they ever say what happen to Fiona? Is she still working with Count Olaf?

Fiona and Fernald have double-crossed Olaf and stolen his submarine, the Carmelita. I don't think it's made clear where they are now, but it seems likely enough that they'll return for Book the Thirteenth, especially because it takes place(at least partially) at sea.

She stole the Carmelita and is now some kind of sea girl with Fernald Widdershins Naifson. I think that she's now the Hookhanded Woman.

It also says that the Quagmires are fighting for their lives against eagles and a hook-handed henchman. It's unclear what part Fiona would be playing in this, and what her motives might be. Some have speculated that she and Fernald are after information from Hector.'
There's no reason to think Fiona will become hook-handed, too. I hope she doesn't.

I hope she does. Then the good side of VFD can have a cool hook-handed person to counter Fernald.

Although last we heard, Fiona had joined the opposite side of the schism - that was before she and Fernald ran away, though. But since they're apparently still together, I'd guess that whatever side of the schism Fernald is on, Fiona is on too. They'll very likely come back in B13. Hm, I wonder how they're handling all the children working on the Carmelita? Unless the children aren't needed to move the submarine, and they all escaped or were let go or something.

It's very doubtful the children were let go, Olaf and Esme wouldn't keep them around if they weren't necessary. It irks me severely that these people who were about to start doing good things are actually forcing slave labor and ATTACKING the people their friend especially requested them to save. I don't like Fiona at all, if she comes up I'll hiss in fury and glare at the pages as I read until she goes away or turns good again.

Yes I agree with everybody who posted just to get on-topic. Fernald is probably using the large fly-swatter for the Quagmires and Hector.
I love how everybody, OK, most people, hate Fiona. Somone said she named all her knives in the kitchen 'Fiona', and more recently, somebody plans to glare at B13 pages which has Fiona in them.
Hehe.

I'm the glaring one! *raises hand* But seriously. One minute they're pledged to their friends and the next they're ATTACKING the very people their friends asked to help rescue? It's not like Olaf and Esme are making them do it, they're fully able to control themselves and the ship now so as far as I'm concerned they're evil brats.

Except we have no idea why they're attacking the SSHAMH, the involvement of the eagles has led some to suggest that the sinister duo is now controlling them, and it might just have been Fernald's idea with Fiona not wanting any of it. I think that Kit's very likely on the SSHAMH, and since she's just met Widdershins, Fernald and Fiona want information about his location from her which she's refusing to give them. Although that's pure speculation, as we really don't have a clue.

Wait, how would Kit be in the sshamh? I suppose she could be travelling with the Quagmires and seeing the signal but last we heard she was waterskiing towards and then away from Captain Widdershins, and I presume she met him briefly at that clump of seaweed. How would she have gotten aboard?

She said while she was having brunch with the Baudelaires that she'd end up on board, and she implied that Widdershins would as well (although the fact that she ended up going away from him does act against that, but we don't really have much idea what that was about).
But if Quigley manages to construct a net big enough to capture all those eagles, and I manage to contact Captain Widdershins and have him meet me at a certain clump of seaweed, we'll be here on Thursday. Hector should manage to land his self-sustaining hot air mobile home on the roof, even with all of us aboard. TPP - p43-44

yes but later on, unsure of what page/chapter, it talks about how Kit waterskiid away from Captain Widdershins implying she's not on the sshamh and not with him definitely.
