As of today, the ninth of April, we have
187 Days till The End is released!
This is just a general ho hum countdown, the big one will begin on Augest the 24th, when we have 50 days to go.

June - 30 days

August -31 days
September - 30 days
October - 13 days
That adds up to 187 days, not 157. Believe me, I'm counting down too.
You're closer to The Beatrice Letters. That comes out in exactly 150 days from today.

I heard that they're relasing them extra early if you eat at the Anxious Clown.
1) Tell the two armed waiter that the World is Quiet Here. He will give you a piece of paper. Do not read it.
2) Take it to the address written on the piece of paper and give it to the first dancing clown in a raincoat that you meet. He will ask you to find a quadratic equation for him.
Tell him that he's been very bad to his mother. He will hand you a guitar. with a lock on it. The key can be found inside the guitar.
3) Open the guitar. You will find a coded message etched into the sides of the guitar. Decode it and follow the directions given. The book will be found in a tree a few miles west widdershins of the address that you were not sent to.
Congratulations, you just got the book early for free! No spoilers please!

Yeah, 'cept me and SnicketFires talked about this a while ago, and decided that we're not allowing countdowns until there are 150 days to go until B13 (not TBL, but there should be a joint countdown for that in the same thread). And it's not like I didn't ever say this, I mentioned it last time the issue came up in whichever thread it was, and I liked to think that you all took it in. Apparently not, although I don't think you were around at the time, Sora, so you'd have missed it. There's really no point in starting a countdown ridiculously early; you want to start at a date that's relatively near (i.e. less than half a year) and has some symbolic value in itself. It's not really a countdown if it has no meaning to either counters or readers.
