Sorry Dante, I know this is going to get locked, but I don't know where to put it, so I'll let you tell me. On page 203 of TPP it says:(talking about Olaf)"...this notorious villain had reappeared in the Baudelaires' lives for the penultimate time..." Sice penultimate means next-to-last(duh), the quote indicates that the next time the Baudelaires meet Olaf, it will be the last time. So, this leads me to believe that in the 13th book: Olaf dies, Olaf goes to jail, Olaf turns good, or the Baudelaires die. Once again, sorry Dante!

This could actually go in the B13 Speculation Thread. And if Olaf goes good, they may very well meet him again.

Thanks twistedbrain, I'll transfer it. And if Olaf turned good, he would probably join the Baudelaires, so your right.

You know, I'm generally not in favour of people posting threads which they know are going to be locked. But I can see that you just want to help and to highlight certain facts, which I think is a good idea. And if the B13 speculation thread were crammed with so much posting that it was overflowing and discussion was being lost, I'd totally be fine with individual topics on smaller aspects like this. But the speculation thread ain't overflowing, there's no danger of this being lost and forgotten if you put it there - although it'll eventually be lost to time, but that happens to all things - so, as you predicted, The End has come for this thread.
