I have the Xbox version. I've beaten it three times. It doesn't have the level on the beach.

Yeah it was pretty cheap. I paid about six dollars (one dollar for the game, five for shipping) and of course the game is used.
They're still playing it... They're trying to get some ingredients from Olaf's pantry or something. And it's full of rats and acid.

I've played the whole PC version as well. It's a good game, it just doesn't have a lot of replayability. Not suprising given the genre though. I have to say the graphics look really good on my modern machine compared to your typical 2004-ish machine, though.

I have the PS2 version although I haven't played it in a long time. From what I remember it was a fairly decent game and I, too, struggled at the peppermint bit.

It causes me some trouble, but you can get through it quickly if your handy with the Brilliant Bopper

Okay, they just collected five of Monty's snakes in the garden. How far would you say they are?

Where are they now? At Uncle Monty's you have to expose Olaf after and then there's The Wide Window and then the Marvelous Marriage.

They beat it the next morning actually. Excellent entertainment value.

Did they collect all the jigsaw pieces and unlock everything?

I don't think so. They were just trying to get through it as quick as possible because they were leaving the next day.

Pretty sure you cant resurrect old topics like this...
Anyway, I have the game on GBA and PS2. I have beaten the PS2 version two or three times, and thought it was decent, but I really had no incentive to play it again after beating it.
I thought the GBA version was horrible. I got stuck out in the garden outside of Monties house, the part where you have to jump through the trees. I just didnt have the patience.

I've obtained the video game for GBA and GC. I can beat the GBA in The Reptile Room part but I've beat the GC game 29 times and counting.
