I think I may have found the mysterious Activision PC game that was listed on Amazon, but never seemed to be available. I was at OfficeMax last night and they had "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events Mini Games" in the software bin for $9.99. (Of course, I bought it right away.)
It's not too bad. Nine little games plus at least one bonus game I've uncovered. The graphics are decent, original voices from the movie, some of the games are more challenging than others.
I think it is well worth the $9.99 if you happen to find it at OfficeMax or elsewhere.

They never told us about it? That's odd..... sounds quite fishy to me. I'll look it up on Activision's database.

Gigi just said she had bought it, and then she continued to describe the game. I think we can safely assume from that information that it exists.

Gigi isn't lying Edwin; before you accuse her (and Tragedy-that's a different story) of lying, maybe you should think about yourself.
Gigi, do you know of its release in the UK? What do the different mini-games involve?

Check the website Dupin and I am not accusing Gigi of lying I am simply saying that I can't find it in the database.

The Activision database? It DOES exist. Here are the front and back cover of the game. I will try to get some screen shots soon. The games are: Violet's Invention Center (move objects in the kitchen to make a ball land in a basket on the floor) Klaus Code Cracker (find spelling and grammar mistakes in Josephine's note) Gibbo! (matching game with Sunny's vocabulary) The Lively Library (climb the ladder to retrieve cookbooks from Justice Strauss' library) The Perfect Puttanesca (the orphans are shopping for groceries) The Incredibly Hungry Viper (corral the snakes) The Hazardous House (get past obstacles to escape Josephine's collapsing house) Smack-a-Leech (basically Whack-a-Mole) The Terrible Tower (multiple choice trivia to help Violet climb the tower) Bonus game: The Puzzling Predicament (turn and move mirrors to bend the beam of light and burn the marriage certificate) By finishing each game, you earn printable certificates. Some games are harder than others. Gibbo! is a piece of cake and the trivia was easy, but I can't for the life of me get past the first level of Violet's Invention Center. (Do you believe me that it exists now?)

No, I don't believe it exists, I believe this was the work of clever editting.

Well, then thank you for the wonderful compliment. I must be truly skilled in editing exisitng images and inventing game titles and descriptions.

I guess I will just have to post some screen shots. (I mean, go create graphics edited from other sources to fool them into thinking the game exists.)

I s'pose so. Oy, there's nothing harder than fooling people about a video game, is there?

If I can find another copy, maybe I'll have to have a contest and give away the game as the prize. Mmmm.....
