Seeing as my other topic got locked, I'll post what I said earlier here. Even though The Gothic Archies have all of these songs on their site and their Myspace, I was at Barnes & Noble today to buy my copy of TBL and they were promoting TTT by giving out sampler CDs with the tracks 'Scream and Run away', 'Crows', and 'Walk my gargoyle'. It's just a little promotional item and I was just wondering if anyone else has it. I'll try to post pics of it later.

The Gothic Archies' site has now been updated, and includes a music player which plays the full (and apparently updated) tracks of " Scream and Run Away," " Walking My Gargoyle," and " Crows." They're excellent, so go listen. A CD with those three songs came free as a promo with The Beatrice Letters at Barnes and Noble. (Or at least, at my Barnes and Noble).

TragicTreasury.co.uk now has an option to join a mailing list concerning The Gothic Archies / TTT (which apparently extends to the mobile phone, although I don't have one so I didn't put down a number). I've signed up, so if I get any messages, they should eventually wind up here.

Listen or download the full new version of The World is a Very Scary Place at this website (allegedly for a limited time only): The Next Five Songs You'll LikeAnd listen to 30-second clips of all fifteen songs at this site (apparently for RealPlayer only): TTT Album PageThe latter also having a lengthy and very interesting biography for The Gothic Archies, including the origins of the song Walking My Gargoyle and the quotations, " I thought I could play the accordion and sing, so I asked Stephin to write something. In fact, I have the distinct memory of going to the ATM and withdrawing enough cash and paying him directly upon commission of the song," and " Don't mess with us or we'll kill you."

TragicTreasury.co.uk has updated with a new look and - like just about everywhere else - 30-second clips of each track, some of which are, once again, new.

I've got The Tragic Treasury; I bought it a couple of hours ago, it being out here (the U.K.) today rather than tomorrow. It's pretty cool. Just so everyone knows, the lyrics booklet is full of poorly-scanned chapter pictures, including what appear to be three from The End.
