The original Puzzling Puzzles (with Olaf on the cover) came out in 2004 when the movie came out. The second book (with the orphans on the cover) came out in 2006 with an added Introduction and 16 additional pages of puzzles. The other 69 pages of puzzles are the same in both books. The first book is much more expensive than the first one .... I'm a bit confused by this statement. Which book is more expensive? Olaf or orphans? And how much difference in price? The second edition, with the orphans, is more complete, so would be a better deal in my mind. Hope this helps.

Don't forget that Random lives in Poland. Probably add to the cost.

I should note that the British version of the second edition - with the jigsaw-orphans cover rather than the movie Olaf cover - didn't contain any of the bonus content from the updated HarperCollins edition (I assume it was just exactly the same as the movie edition but with the updated cover slapped on it by Egmont). Random may want to check that the publisher is HarperCollins rather than Egmont, although I wouldn't expect it to be the latter.

Check the page count too. The expanded Harper-Collins edition has 104 pages versus the 84 pages in the first edition
