Does anyone have any scans of the calander pictures? I've never seen them and would like to.

As far as I'm aware (and I only have the 2005 calendar), the calendar pictures, with the exception of the calendar covers, are not new art; they're recyled from the book covers, box set covers and some of the photographs in the U.A., and so aside from the latter, they'd all be online. The exception would be that some of the art in the calendars is only shared with the U.K.-only special editions of TBB (for example, the image that went on to become the cover of the new edition of The Puzzling Puzzles, although obviously that's an example of an image that did go on to be used elsewhere).

That's too bad. At least I don't feel bad about never having got one, though. They really should make another one, with new art work by Brett of course.

That's not entirely true. The '04 calendar, at any rate, had a new color rendition of the B&W full page illustration of the Baudelaires crossing Lake Lacrymose from TWW. It was done almost exactly the same same way, which suprised me when I first saw it.

Are they making a 2008 calender?

I doubt it. I think the calendars were usually out mid-year the previous year, so we would probably own the 2008 calendar already if there was going to be one. There wasn't a 2007 calendar either, and while there was a 2006 calendar, it was just made by the U.K. publishers and didn't contain any new material. The aSoUE "buzz" has largely died off with the conclusion of the series; I wouldn't expect another calendar unless Snicket writes something else major with illustrations (which he probably will eventually)... or unless they decide to make one with the new illustrations from the new paperbacks; by 2009, half the series will probably be out in the new paperback from, and by 2011 they all should be. That would provide plenty of material; they'd just need the market for it.
