It's probably an unofficial tentative release date.

When did HarperCollins start doing the one-aSoUE-book-a-year scam? Didn't Handler say he was going to release a book a year when TCC came out?! I remember reading it in an interview somewhere...

What do you think the book The Notorious Notations is going to be about.

It had been mentioned, but we appreciate the thought.

According to Amazon.co.uk (not the most reliable of sources, but there are no others as of current), Britain gets the Bad Beginning Private on September 1st, as in America, and the Loathsome Library Vol. 1 in September. The what now? We actually get this one?

Yes, quite. We actually get things, for once. (Actually, Amazon.co.uk offers most of the book stuff, but frequently with incorrect information and greatly delayed releases.)

Hard to say, since there aren't any details about it whatsoever.

I wonder how much the ultimate, mega, private library edition will cost over here.

Cool! I like it, although it's not nearly nice as the cover of The Gloom Looms. I assume there'll eventually be a second volume, books 7-13...although that would be considerably longer than books 1-6. Perhaps two more volumes? This is all just guesswork, though...

Hard to say, since there aren't any details about it whatsoever. It's the fact it's "Heinmann Educational" And the UK books are published by Egmont.

Ah yes. That's odd.
But I don't claim to be an expert on different editions of the books. I find it darn hard to keep track of what exists in the U.K. as opposed to what exists in the U.S. Especially with Amazon.co.uk, which I've ranted about elsewhere.
