I ordered it from Amazon.co.uk. It took ages to get here, but it was the right thing (although Amazon.co.uk has given it the wrong name). You should be able to get the Blank Book from them, too... Unless they're still only selling them used.

I don't have TBBRE, and I live in America. Since the author's notes are typed up in Raveged Recources, I can still read them any time I want.

*shrugs* I didn't have tbb at that point so getting bbre wasn't much trouble. And I love being able to read the notes at any time without the computer. Plus I get the marvelous marriage picture.

I already had a copy of TBB. When it came out, I didn't particularly care that I didn't have the rare edition, although at times I desperately wish that I had a copy of TBBRE. Oh well...new books are always popping up that I'd rather spend money on than a second copy of a book I already have. You can read the notes here...so I would be springing for a new book, the only thing from which I didn't have access to was the marvelous marriage picture.

It is most probably another UA sort of thing. Oh, and while looking through Amazon.com, I also came across what appears to be yet another edition of the Bad Beginning - A Series of Unfortunate Events #1: The Bad Beginning Private Library Edition (A Series of Unfortunate Events), to be released on November 1st this year. Does anyone know what is meant by "private library edition"? I personally think that Private Library Edition will be a BBRE with an optional 'Lemony Snicket' nameplate, and some extra notes.

As many as the money-hungry publishers think the public will buy.

Exactly! Wasn't there another promotional thing coming out besides the loathsome library edition thing? And when is the 2006 calendar coming out?

Are you thinking about the Notorious Notations? We have no idea what it is, but it's supposed to come out next spring. Search Amazon.
Calendar? It's on Amazon.uk, but hasn't been seen in the US. It should be out soon. The thing with the calendar, it's a useful object, but only for a year.
Sorry, 13 months.

The Notorious Notations? I hadn't heard of that. Probably an ominous omnibus for 4-6... Maybe. Or if we're lucky(right......) another LSUA type thing.
