...Frivolous?
friv·o·lous adj. 1. Unworthy of serious attention; trivial: a frivolous novel. 2. Inappropriately silly: a frivolous purchase.
I don't think so. And nobody even try to tell me that Lemony will attempt to ward off buyers by saying the last books is unworthy of serious attention; I'll only ignore you.
That said, I think the title will, inevitably, be something of the form "horrible end," given the title of TBB (although it could be switched around so that the time-placement word is the adjective, as with TPP). It would be appropriate, I feel. Something negative and something alluding to endings, anyway, in some kind of "order." I've had a few ideas, but most of them sound rather too easy. Hopefully Handler'll surprise us with something suitably literary rather than coming out with something completely obvious.

Yeah I mean he may call a story of truth woeful to read but he would not call the truth unworthy of attention. That's not like his character at all.

Something of that nature seems more plausible, yes - I think that titles like or similar to The Fearful Finale or The Final Fright have been suggested in the past.

I don't think TNNotations is worth my money, yet I find the urge to collect ASOUE books (except for the nickolodeon crap). But I still won't buy TNNotations.
How about TPPuzzles2? are the new pages worth the money? I have heard that there are 8 additional pages. Are they good?

Well firstly you've got to find out wether or not your local bookstore has it in stock. Because last thing I heard about it was that publications of the new edition was cancelled for reasons one could only imagine. So it might prove to be quite a task to get your hands on one.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for news from bookstore guy about mine - he's apparently ordered some, but these rumours of publication being cancelled do still worry me (although I tell myself it could all be a mix-up due to both editions having the same ISBN and the original being out of print). At the moment, though, it's looking like I won't have PPuzzles until... after my holiday in France next week, at the earliest. But I do worry about never getting one, which would not only be intolerable to me but also incredibly unfair and frankly a pointless, contemptuous act on the publisher's part.

Where did this publication cancellation rumor come from? Are they just cancelling any further printings, because it's already been published. I have a copy.

There are copies of TPPuzzles in my local bookstore, just to answer the post below mine, a while ago.

Where did this publication cancellation rumor come from? Are they just cancelling any further printings, because it's already been published. I have a copy. That would be me: I bought Notorious Notations yesterday, but couldn't find Puzzling Puzzles - the bookstore lady looked it up and said the publication of it was cancelled. Thoughts? For clarification, I checked in again at the same bookstore last week, and she still said it was cancelled. Other than that, I don't know any more. I think some people have gotten the new copy. I've yet to check in other bookstores around here to see if they've got it.

That just sounds like an excuse for lazy bookstore lady not to order you a copy or find out more information. Was it a national chain bookstore or a local independent?

Local independant, but they've got other outlets all over the place here. Anyway, I'll try to get one next time I go to a Chapters, and try and find out what's happening, generally.

I just now have the Puzzling Puzzles. I love it. I think it is beneficial to the survival of a secret organization.
