Just a quick note: According to this site, B13 will have a print run of 2.5 million, TBL will have a print run of 500,000, and The Complete Wreck will have a print run of 300,000 (I wonder if that's counting all thirteen books in the collection as one, or whether it's individual, in which case there will be 300,000/13 TCWs? Likely the former).

Yeah, probably the former...I don't see the point in just making 13 TCWs.
On another note, will there be another boxset, perhaps containing B13, TUA and TBL? And haven't I already discussed this?
And what free gift will come with another boxset? Headed letterpaper perhaps?

I don't think we've considered additional 3-book box sets for ages. And it's been done to death, but so has pretty much everything, and we've not much else to do at the moment.
A box set for B13, the U.A. and TBL would make sense. Well, for TBL anyway, but a lot of people will already have the U.A. Although box sets are often for people just entering the series, so it wouldn't matter. Personally, I like to think that they're going to keep B13 out of any and all box sets (aside from, obviously, a set of the complete series (that should really just have been called A Series of Unfortunate Events, in my opinion, rather than The Complete Wreck (what's it meant to sound like? "The Complete Set?))), so that people can avoid such a dreadful volume more easily. Then again, ultimately, publishers are out to make money.

It's supposed to mean the entire miserable event, probably, counting all 13 books as one event. Y'know, the whole thing.
If Handler wanted to increase suspense by doing things which would mean less money to the publishers, he should have set up his own publishing company, which I suppose could be used to open up more questions about the series...

See, I am planning to sell my rubbish paperback TUA to redeem some money, just to buy TUA hardcover. Now that I come to think of it, should I still wait for the box set so that I'll get all in just one shove on the counter? But on the ugly side, the spine in the box sets suck. They rush them.

Hardcover LSUA? pfft. We did talk about a possible box set including LSUA, book 13, and something else. Maybe LSUA, Beatrice Letters, and book 13?

Maybe. If that's the case, I'll probably get THAT and give my paperback copy of TUA to my Olaf-crazed friend. I'm sure she'd appreciate the gift. Maybe.... If that IS what they're doing.

I would give away any book if I had a duplicate copy. Sort of like my cousin gave me a tvv paperback because he and his sister each had one hardback. Is there or is there not an lsua hardback in the making? Or am I just imagining things..?

Is there or is there not an lsua hardback in the making? Or am I just imagining things..? Not to my knowledge. Recently it was mentioned that the U.A. was out of print, and we discussed whether they might reprint it, so maybe you're vaguely remembering that? It'd be probably quite lame, though, as they might do one of those gimmicky things where they give it a shiny new cover and expect you to pay over again for something you already have. But no, as far as we know, there are no plans to make a new hardcover U.A. Or at least, as far as I know, and I should think I'd remember it if they were.

Crap, I was planning on buying it but I could only find paper back and that is why. Does anyone know where I can find a paperback?
