you just don't like it because you wouldn't qualify... Let's go to the judges for their score on that round:
Sam 1 Tragedy 0

Four out of five judges agree: Sam's octopus ink ice cream wins the day!

We already have a whole lot of sections that exclude not only newbies, but everyone who aren't moderators, UE.net originals, and even random people (Sickly Secret--what the heck do you need to get in there?). How many more do we really need? I agree that this board is already restricted enough. The moderators-only-board and the planning section I can understand(but what do they talk about in there, I wonder). The section for UE.net originals--What goes on in there? *shudders paranoidly* And not to mention Nasty None-of-your-Business. Just what is that? About the section for quote, unquote, mature people: We already have something along those lines, namely Disturbing Discussion, a forum for discussions of controversial issues and things that are just plain disturbing. However, that forum's not entirely mature at times. Why should this board be age-segregated? It's pointless, as some young people can be more mature than some older people.

No, sorry. I was saying no to Kobolos' idiotic idea. I knew that you were saying no to Kobolos' idea the first time, but what are you saying no to now?

noOo, PEOPLE VOTE GOGOGOGOGO, or else all the well-thought-out, logical arguments the anti-section people have made will be for naught, in the face of "i think u shud deleat tehm" and "it was just...more supreme back then."
I still don't see why we even have people who bother making accounts and never posting, though.

Some people might think that they have to be registered to even read the board, so they register, read, and decide never to post. Or they just want to IM someone for reasons unknowable to mortal man. Or they register but don't post immediatly after like they logically should, and never get to.
Anyway, I agree with Luna that the anti-board-segregationists have much better arguments than the original-member-supremacists. Tragedy says he will base his decision on the poll, but has no set date for a verdict. I want him to read the arguments of each side as well, deciding who has the most valid arguments, before he makes any sort of verdict.
Tragedy, do not let all this good rhetoric go to waste. Read and think and decide, mighty admin.

I haven't been on here for that long. I have very few posts because I don't want to clog up the boards. It's very hard for newbies to gain higher status (more posts) AND post interesting, thought-provoking material at the same time. I like to think that everything I've posted (namely artwork) has been quality, but who decides that and on what criteria? I'd have to agree with Luna in that by creating an elite force of members, you're lowering the quality of the community. V.

yes, but the people that would get into the elite board would still post in the regular sections too.

I am inclined to think that they would do that far less - if they had a small community of regulars, they'd prefer to post there.

... Well, I still say you'll never know until you try. But I personally think the Elite's would still post ont he regular board some. Not as much, of course. But ther is always somehting good here. It's not like they'll make a section for artwork in it. If it were based on time here and number of posts, James may not qualify. Where would we go for our precious, precious E-Eastenders?? @_o Would we get it bootleg? ( )
