Dupin, I wasn't being rude, I was telling the truth. I know that you're power hungry, but that doesn't mean you should win everything without a fight. I've even helped you out--you didn't bother to tell Deanna she was supposed to be G-Mod either for your board, so I did. You're welcome. So quit trying to make me look like the bad guy all the time.

You mean if I get a layout that I didn't make myself? Edit: Also, I thought you were voting on the website, not the layout. Excuse me? There's no need to start making snides about my forum. Thanks...for voting me to win the poll at this moment, guys! She wasn't insulting you at all. She stated a fact: that your skin wasn't original and was pre-made. If you're going to get offended when people bring it up, then perhaps you should put the effort into making one.

I think that neither of you should win frankly because you both already have power in the forum and become one rank higher isn't going to change your popularity in any way.
I am supporting Dupin because I think that he would be great as a global moderator, but I can quickly change my mind.
Dupin's forum has a template made by someone else that he got from a website. It has hacks to make the layout different and images for each of the colours.
Libby's forum has a unique colour scheme and nice easy to read menu images. It also has a name that is associated with the penultimate book in the A Series of Unfortunate Events series. I don't find the name at all individual.
I can not comment on the content of Libby's forum, but I am supporting Dupin for those exact reasons. I would be happy to stay as a member of Dupin's forum after 667 Apprentice has finished.

We're not trying to be global moderators to become more popular, Edwin, and it's insulting that you should think that's what we're trying to do. We are attempting to help the forum. It also bothers me that votes are based merely on skins, not content.

The content of Dupin's forum is mint (referrence to Lisa (from Big Brother) (who was sadly evicted last night)).

A large portion of belonging to a forum is how aesthetically pleasing it is, and how convenient it is. Dupin's wins in both of these categories.
Having an inordinately long list of boards is hindersome.

SetnicK expresses a very valid point.

Okay, I viewed both. I didn't view content because I thought it would be the same as the other forum but from what I saw (as a guest) I didn't see a lot of pinned topics welcoming people to the forum (just a referral thread). I thought it would be fun to get a special letter maybe you have that, and I just didn't see it. I know it's over now, but I actually had an automatic welcome PM for new members, which I think worked. And Libby, why are you getting so angry and personal about it? Your first comment was clearly a personal swipe at me, and you've just gotten ruder and ruder. What is your sudden problem with me. And on a brighter note, thanks so much to everyone who voted me and yay for me winning the 667 Apprentice. (:

I was not being rude, I was telling the truth. I worked quite hard on the skin to my forum, and I think it's only fair that people understand that you didn't put effort into yours. You won this contest before it even started. No matter what I do, no matter how hard I work, you're always going to win because you're Dupin. You're popular and well-known. Your arrogant and overly competitive attitude has been apparent to me since you joined my team. You're already a mod, and I believe you were a temporary g-mod before. Why are you intent on devouring every staff position so that no one else gets a chance? You're a sweetheart, Dupin, you really are, but you need to realize that you are not the only person on the planet who deserves a chance at things.

Libitina, I don't mean to be rude, but I think it's an incredibly rude thing to say that I'd won it from the beginning. I worked as hard as I possibly can, and THAT'S why I won. I was really happy you had done so well too, but I don't know what's come over you; you went from being very pleasant on MSN to being very rude on here.

Your attitude has come over me, that's what. Are you trying to say that nobody else has worked hard? Obviously, you're not going to understand what I mean because it's difficult to evaluate yourself in such a way, but everyone expected you to win because you're well-known. It's like nobody else ever had a chance.

Of course I understand everyone else worked hard, Libitina, but you were making out that I had won just because I'm a well-known member, and for no other reason, which you know is just not true.

*intercessory* I understand both of your points of view. Libby, I also thought that Dupin had a better chance of winning because of his status on the forum that he had from the beginning. I'm not saying that that had helped him in the very beginning necessarily, but at the end. George is known and well-liked for the reason that he is hard-working and dependable. Dupin didn't (and couldn't) slack off at the beginning of the competition, and he simply didn't get through boardrooms just because he's George Dupin. He had to do every task, just like you did Libby. The only way that I can see George's popularity helping him was in the final task. Oh, and you aren't so unpopular yourself, Orangey.
Now, when I was voting, I put some thought into it. Part of the reason of why it was so hard for me was that Dupin already has the position of being a moderator. For that reason I thought that choosing you would be better, because it would be a new person in a higher staff position. But then again, do you not have the position of being a D-Deleter? Libby, darling, you basically are a G-mod with some limited powers.
Now stop this childish fighting.

Dupin, sorry, that's not what I was trying to imply. I am really just angry because no matter what I try to do for the forum, I fail. I shouldn't take that out on you; you did a wonderful job in the competition. Sorry about all that. Congratulations.

Different things I've tried to plan...the ball a few weeks ago, for example, although I completely understand why that couldn't happen. I'd really like to do something for 667, but it seems like I can never achieve anything here.
