Aww! Jerome cried Cute chapter of the universe---but still, Emma hates them now! *dies* She's actually quite naive. It just makes you wish E and J would have told her something truthful about her birthfather before this. Btw--what does everyone who actually knew Olaf think happened to him (ie. Carmy and Esmé--excluding Jerome because bless him, he doesn't seem to know much about anything)? Because I've had this incredibly funny scene in my head of them both fainting at the same time for like three days XD Seriously, I cannot get over my hate of Olaf right now! Grrrr

If Emma didn't update regularly we'd all go mad, I think.

Yes, he did. ;D I dunno... Jerome crying to me is just so adorable for some reason. Thanks. It seems every time I write a chapter or a story like that, I worry that I took it one step too far and everyone will think I'm either weird or crazy or both. But so far I've been wrong, so that's good. But yes, Emma is very naive. I'll have to add that quality to her bio. I was thinking about it, and I guess this story could be considered an alternate version to The Terrible Truth since Esme and Jerome haven't told Emma anything about her birthfather. I figure everyone just believes he perished in the hotel fire. *laughs* I love your idea about having Carmy and Esme faint when they discover Olaf is alive. It's totally hilarious! I do have plans for a scene in which Esme discovers he's still alive, but it's really angsty. *Dr. Girlfriend voice (my favorite character from The Venture Bros.)* He's a monster. ;D Aww. Well, I do my best. Thanks. I'll be starting the next chapter soon, either tonight or tomorrow. Aww, really?

Yes, I think so. ;D And any scene in which Esmé/ Carmelita/ Jerome (Jerome! OMG) finds out Olaf is alive would be angsty. And probably the fainting just wouldn't happen (but nevertheless, it makes me chuckle). Also, from chapter 3: "Thirteen is hardly a child, after all" Um, how relevant is that!!!! ?!!! I never saw that the first time.

Aww. *blushes*
Me, too. Esme and Carmelita fainting simultaneously would be cute and funny at the same time, I think. ;D And, speaking of comedy, your last RP post really got me laughing.
Heee!! Yeah, Olaf just says that as a way to gain Emma's trust.

Esme and Carmelita fainting simultaneously would be cute and funny at the same time, I think. ;D Oh, heck yeah. I'd love to see that in real life.

*regrets not seeing the updates sooner* I was so sure that was Lemony-then you gave the hint, and I knew it couldn't be Olaf cause he died-I just love the twist of this.
And yeah, I'd love to see that as well-especially Esme's new character.Or Jerome doing some action-y rescue thing for Emma.

Thanks, Violet. Yeah, I can see now how I made it look like the man following Emma was Lemony (hat and trench coat). I just wanted to make it one of those what if/alternate universe stories.
And there is definately going to be plenty more of the "new" Esme. ;D
Again, thank you very much for your comment. I really do appreciate it.

It's always fun to fool people with characters that look like other characters. *wonders if that made sense*
You know, it's hard to believe that The Return was actually in the WIP stages in August last year! Isn't that weird?
....Anyway, ignore me. I'm in a bit of a pointless mood.....

Don't worry, it does. And you're right about that. I actually consider "The Return" my greatest writing accomplishment in spite of it being a fanfic. I worry that sounds egotistical. Aww, your mood is just fine. *puts a hat on your mood* I have no idea why I just did that. ;D

And I ought to read it. I don't know when, but I'm going to read it. And the whole 'perhaps it's Lemony' was smart. Underlined ASOUE really well.
