I mean of all places to be in book 11, why a submarine? That is just too crazy. So crazy, i love it. Discuss what you think this is about here.

Well, I guess it makes sence.... I mean, last time we saw them, they were stuck in a stream. The stream could carry them out to sea or something. I don't know. Haha.

I think it will just reveal more secrets, and that's always good ;D I think not ALL of it will take place inside a submarine, I think a lot of it will take place getting to the submarine, and finding out secrets, and getting in the submarine, and stuff like that. I think it will be interesting to see what happens ;D.

I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS! (well itrs my theory) . THE BAUDELAIRES GET WASHED TO LAKE LACHERMOSE (cant spell it) and then they get saved by a submarine that has aunt josephine and Ike in it and someone else that saves people about to be eaten by the leeches.. ;D

Why a submarine? Because it's cool and idiosyncratic. I guess that VFD made that submarine to use as a sanctuary, because it's hard to start a fire in a half-flooded grotto. I don't think the Baudelaires will be in there all book, but they'll be hiding there, and in the grotto, and nearby.

Why a submarine? Why a carnival? Why mountains? Why a hospital?

Do you think the only setting will the the submarine, and just how big will this submarine be? I can't see the Baudelaires stuck in such a small space for such a long amount of time.. and if they will be do you suppose the book will reveal more secrets (like TSS) instead of having more actual events take place? Personally, I think that stories which limit the scope of the environment, if handled well, can be particularly awesome. It's a great opportunity to explore inside and backwards (emotionally and, if it's a V.F.D.-controlled sub or something, back to the pre-series events, like the schism) instead of outside and forwards like the series usually does.
