Oh my god this was the best one yet. I can not believe it's over. The special Effects, the plot line, (Even though we know what happens anyway.) and the ending was great with Leia and Luke being taken away by Yoda and Samuel L Jackson. Has anyone else seen it yet?

someone my sister knows saw it at midnight last night and they got home at 3:00 am and they still went to school the next day. i did to, but went to bed at 4:00 and got up at 7:00. nice. same here. Star Wars Box Office: Star Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith earned $ 16.5 million dollars from midnight showings all across North America. This is the largest box-office gross for midnight showings ever. About 2,900 theaters (out of the 3,661 who will be exhibiting Revenge of the Sith this weekend) gave fans a midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith. Around 9,000 film prints of Revenge of the Sith will be used this weekend at theaters all around North America. Compare this opening to Attack of the Clones which earned $ 6.2 million dollars from 1,400 theaters in 2002 during its premier midnight showings. This gave Attack of the Clones the then record of $ 30.1 million dollars for an opening weekday gross. Last year, Shrek 2 earned the highest grossing day with $ 44.8 million dollars from 4,163 theaters. Spider-man 2 holds the record for the biggest opening day with $ 40.4 million dollars from 4,152 theaters. Revenge of the Sith smashes the 2003-midnight-showing record of The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King, which generated $ 8 million dollars for its midnight showings leading to a $ 34.5 million dollar opening day for Return of the King. Additionally, Spider-man took in over $ 7 million dollars for its midnight showings which led to a then record of $ 39.4 million dollar opening day. To say the least, Revenge of the Sith is going to set a new record for the largest opening day for a motion picture in North America. Check back later this Friday, May 20 for the final box-office figures for Thursday. From www.supershadow.com

Wow... Just -- WOW. I saw it today during school -- kids in my school if they got enough points for being good during testing got to choose between movies -- and it was...wow.
A WHOLE lot better than the first and the second and slightly better than the old ones... But it was too great for words....
And Luke and Leia don't get taken by Yoda and Mace Windu. They get taken by Obi-Wan and Bail Organa.

The last of the "Star Wars" movies has done what no movie in history has ever accomplished sold $50 million worth of tickets in a single day.
"Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith" grossed $50,013,859 from showings at 3,661 theaters and more than 9,000 screens around the country Thursday, including special midnight shows, according to box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations.
That beat the one-day record set in May 2004 by "Shrek 2," which sold $44.8 million on a single Saturday its fourth day in theaters. The George Lucas film, which features the transformation of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker into the evil Darth Vader, also beat the opening day record held by "Spider-Man 2," which grossed $40.4 million when it opened on a Wednesday last June.
"Fifty million is a good opening weekend, let alone a single day," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of Exhibitor Relations. "This is the box-office equivalent of a 100-year flood."
It is almost assured the film will push well past the $100 million mark for its opening weekend.
The only question is how far?
"The sky's the limit on how well this film could do," Dergarabedian said.
