The glasses are a thin metal frame. you can see them in the TV spot, in the quick flash when you see Klaus with that light thing on his head. hes wearing his glasses. Hope that helps!

Oh, and to correct, Lemony never descries teh children. He simply says tehy are intelligent, charming, and Violet puts a ribbon in her long hair when shes thinking, Klaus wears glasses and reads, and Sunny has 4 sharp teeth. They have those tings in the move, so there you go. good enough, right? He never even said anythinga botu their hair color or anything. You people worry too much.

I'm not complaining I just think it's a bit weird. You know, Harry Potter movies (I do love ASOUE thank you!!) have put more detail and a lot better things to make their characters look correct!! The ASOUE movie looks like they picked some people off of the streets and slopped together a movie!! Then we have the fact that they're only making TBB, TRR, and TWW!! Would it kill them to make the better ones or are they too cheap to do so?

Would it kill them to make the better ones or are they too cheap to do so? Two things- 1. Potter has a much bigger fanbase than ASOUE, and Rowling has much more control over the content of the films (and even then she couldn't keep them entirely faithful to the books) 2. This film isn't for ASOUE fans. They are milking the books to make a ton of cas. While they will certainly leave enough in the film to appeal to fans, it was always aimed at the mainstream- that much is obvious from the TV spot They no doubt feel far less guilt over changes to the visuals and plot than say, the film crews of Potter and Lord of the Rings.

Lets not forget, this movie is the first in the series of movies. It contains 1, 2, and 3. You, Gary Baudelaire, make it sound as though these are the only ones they are making. And trust me, this one will get a sequel because its going to make alot of money. How it goes from there, nobody knows.

Yoru news is sadly mistaken, then. Because they mean this movie, the next one probably containing 4, 5, and 6.

Well, according to the news they are only making 1, 2, and 3!! It is my understanding that casting calls have already gone out for a sequel. Someone on another board was boasting about going to an audition for Carmalita Spats, in fact.

No I dont, but I do believe everything that makes sense and I know how to seperate false and cheap rumors from the ones that sound plausible. and still, I take all of that with a pinch of salt.

According to the other guy: Do you believe everything you hear? Gary, Don't go using my post to flame OlafAssociate. I didn't say anything about believing everything you read. I just have to say that unless you ALSO have access to insider information, I'm going to lean towards putting faith in OlafAssociate's speculation over yours. No offense, but so far, he hasn't been wrong.

So far he hasn't been wrong, has he? Whatever.... I'm not really probably going to be a big fan of the movie, anyway.

Does Any one know where I can get a free movie trailer of the new lemony snicket movie? Do you mean downloadable? If so, I can tell you how (only if you have a PC though). Once you've watched the trailer: 1.Go to Tools 2. Choose Internet Options 3. Then on the middle of that options page, the third of three buttons, is called Settings, choose that. 4. Then a new box appears, so choose the button that says View Files. 5.A new page will appear. Of all the categories (e.g. Name, ect.) the third is TYPE, click on that to alphabetize them and scroll down until you get to "Quicktime Application" or something like that. 6. The file should be called '1minTVspot' I think. WEEELLLL...drag that onto your desktop and you won't have to wait for it to load because it will be downloaded on your computer. Sorry if this is hard to understand (or if, for some odd reason, I'm not allowed to post this sort of information, thought I can't think of why I wouldn't be able to!)
