What're you talking anbout you hope not. The only way the book has comedy is through the writing, like his crazy stories and definitions. If it doesn't have that, then they'll make it funny by doing stupid stuff with Jim Carrey and i don't want to lighten the mood of the movie.

Alright alright alright. First off, pretty much all of TBB and TRR portions are done. I suppose they will be using the usual methods of creating storms for movies. If you look for movies with large ocean storms, and see if it has any behind-the-scenes stuff, youll see how. Its hard to explain.
As for the indeterminate creature, when they say "dance with unintelligable glee", they dont mean break out into loud, obnoxious songs that will highly annoy the film's atmoshpere, they mean things like humming and bobbing back and forth, just kinda doing its own thing for no reason.
We can expect trailers and TV spots in the future, btu exactly when, he cannot say because he doesnt know. Same for official photos.
I suppose they are filming in order, considering the TV spot only contains things from TBB. But I can tell you they have filmed some of the TWW stuff, like teh scenes that take place around the house. And The Reptile room has pretty much been taken apart by now.
The films budget is about $150 million, which is good, because witha budget liek that, they cant mess this film up even if they tried.
I talk to him here and there, but I dont see why that should matter.
As for an official trailer/poster of any sort, and webiste, as well, those wil be up soon Im sure. It wont be long. I think maybe in June or July, maybe later. He doesnt know.
Hope that helps!

Oh, and the defining stuff thing, Im sure well have a bit of that here and there. Since we have Law as a narrator, yeah, when hes narrating, Im sure hes going to say things like "a word which here means." I should ask my insider about that, actually.

They can still mess up with a budget like that, look at Cat in the Hat. But it is promising that the studio is showing confidence in it, especially when they were only willing to put out $87 million in the beginning

One of my more nagging questions is about the kids. Would you mind asking your insider about their performances. Are they good? Being in such a big movie can be pretty daunting

Your nagging question is a safe answer. He has told me time and time again they are the best for teh roles. Even the babis (theyre twins), particularly after all the babies tehy had in the first place wouldnt stop crying.
No, there isnt supposed to be any gross,d ub humor or slime. While the film rights was originally purchased by Nickelodean, this movie is more Paramount Studi's baby and they wouldnt let that happen.
Same thing for the soundtrack. there isnt supposed to be any cheesy rappers rapping about the terrible lives of the Baudelaire orphans. Imagine how tacky that would be! lol

1) How will they incorperate Jude into the film? Will it be a voice over, or a scene with him walking on a beach?
2) Are they going to put Beatrice in the film? If so, how?
Thank you OlafAssociate and OlafAssociate's Associate.

Imagine how tacky that would be! lol Which reminds me (now that I'm listening to "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" from the Kill Bill Vol.1 OST), is this a musical or is it just a normal type film? I remember Handler saying it was going to be a dismal mock-Gothic musical... Also, if it's a non-musical, then who are they using for the soundtrack anyway? I'm just curious.
