Wow, someone took the hacking suggestion seriously. Anwho, hope this gets sorted out, the fact that it's happening to other members as well worries me.

Well exactly. If someone hacks this site then they have access to anyone's email and personal details and it isn't fair that the users of this site are being put at risk.

Eh, I think it's perfectly fair. I mean, you use the internets, you run that risk. Like, you can't be like, "it's so unfair if I'm wandering around this shady place at night and get mugged."

So being mugged is something that is their fault?

So being mugged is something that is their fault? It wouldn't be their fault, but why put yourself at unnecessary risk? Is that what you mean, SetnicK?

WHOA TIME OUT! Look at the news fader - I definately did not do that. Of course I can change it now if I want but I will keep it there as evidence -see for yourself!

But when I wander the streets at night I take steps to protect myself. I don't walk anywhere by myself, I keep my phone in my pocket in case of emergencies and I scan the streets for people who might possibly be dangerous to my friends and I. However if I run into an angry person with a gun all my efforts at prevention and self- protection will be for naught and I may end up dead or worse.
So applied here, I have plenty of Internet Security myself but I can't protect against someone hacking a website with my personal details on.

I seem to remember seeing that a couple days ago (can't remember exactly when). I didn't go see what the site was at first. I just figured you had done it.

Same here. I saw it a few days ago and thought you were just trying to be funny.

Eh, I got a similiar e-mail a few days ago. I figured it was a proboards glitch, but Trag was talking about activation codes yesterday, and said that can happen when someone hits the "I forgot my password "button, or something. I thought it might have been you that haxx0red my account, Trag...but yeah. Can't imagine why.
But meh. Nothing was changed, as far as I know. I deleted e-mail.
So they just sent a PM? They didn't do anything else? Pfff.
And yeah, what Trag said, he seemed puzzled on MSN.
And the fader thing? Wtf? That was a few days ago, that I saw that. SO ADR MUST HAVE BEEN HAXX0RED TWICE D: D: D:
Or Trag did it. Or G-Mods. Or, like, ADR's brother, trying to be funny, or something.

Swans or Derik probably, to get back at ADR before they are fully stripped of their powers do to the new rule. Or it just could be this 'hacker'. I agree with Setnick on this matter though. The site's been hacked before, and we've had bigger problems. The Disciple anyone? It's probably just some fanatic that'll screw around then skive off to mess up someone else's forum.

Hmmm...it's probably just that Patrick fellow wandering around, messing with his subjects. ;D I totally need to find out how to hax proboards. Is there some kind of weekend course I can take?

I think the guy who owned YouTube could do it. That guy knows EVERYTHING. I mean seriously. His buisness skills are so good, that he could take acid all day, and still get 750 million forked out for his site.
