This is very strange. In the photo section at the back, there is a picture of the truck in front of London's Tower Bridge. Based on what I saw when I was in London, and if the picture was taken where I think it was taken, I'm pretty certain that the truck should be floating over the River Thames. Anybody else that's been to London, can you verify this?

That Sebald message would read "I promise to kill you" if "won't" were changed to "will not". Until then, it says "I so find count there's".

in one part, there is a message from the vinyard of fragrant grapes. in TCC (p202), Klaus and Violet talk about a time when they went to a vinyard that was famous for its delicious smelling grapes with their parents....

Now we know what the entry by Quagmire, Quigley means. He went overboard at the end of TSS, so apparently LSUA was written after that happened.

I had completely forgotten about Quigley in LSTUA. I guess he really does end up overboard!

*gasps* Oh well, Quigley deserves to die. I just hope his bro and sis don't take the plunge (literally) with him.

Well, it's not a truck, I thought, but someone wearing what a particular volunteer (B, but calling herself D) once wore to demonstrate the Various Finery Disguises kit. Does the photograph on Page 206 show the Valley of Four Drafts?

does it have odd, square peaks? i noticed that everything leads to Lemony Snicket, or Overall feeling of doom, coincidently shortens to OFD for the captain sham/genghis thing go to captain S in the index and look up the pages at the end of the letter it says with all due respect
Captain S. (aka J)i always thought that Captain S was jacques --> jacques snicket. captain s could also be Julio Sham back in the index it says 'see also captain sham' * at the bottom of the page with the letter (110) it says incidentally, i rather enjoyed your theatrical reveiws in the Daily Punctilio and i was sorry to hear you would no longer be writing themas the letter was adressed to Sir, this opens up many new theory possibilities, as lemony worked at the paper as a dramatical critic 1. sir also worked at the paper as a dramatical critic 2. lemony is sir 3. captain sham wrote to sir for a reason i just forgot 4. jacques wrote to sir for the same reason as above 5. jauques wrote to lemony (sir) to smuggle him out of the country why would the TMM sir need to be smuggled out of the country? lemony would need be to because his name wasn't cleared

Oh my gosh, that chart is HUGE. I didn't read it all, because i got the gist, and have made of list similar to it.
And if there are clues in the Index, many are confusing, such as the Captain Sham one.
