IT'S NOT FAIR. How come you draw so well? I love them both! I think your grandparents will love the rose, it has a Victorian-ish charm to it! And Puck looks GREAT... you didn't young-ize him too much, I think he still looks like Puck... and he's a sprite, so he can be young and lovely Very nice!!! *applause* Alli- Puck is from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the play I did for school not too long ago (cast pictures in my LJ... sorry for shameless advertising ) and it's a very good play... Puck is a mischievous and cunning fairy-type thing...

Thank you both so much! <---- blushing from all the falttery. Yeah, Puck is one of my favourite characters EVER (a Midsummer Night's Dream is probably the first play I ever had read to me), so forgive if I'm perfectionistic about that. And Mamba, if I weren't afraid you'd think I was a crazy stalker I'd yeild to your shameless advertising, but... yeah. There's the whole thinking of the crazy stalkerism. ;D Wh00p! And thanks muchly again.

You're Jewish? How cool is that? Okay... I shouldn't be amazed by that... I just have a little obsession with Judaism right now (I'm not really sure why), so don't mind me. ;D Thanks!

your style is amazing. I love the colors in your 7 of clubs card. That's the kind of stuff i would love to do if i had the talent or patience to shade well. I love the thighs in it. They're fantastic. sorry to post late. i'm really really good like that.

Thanks, Zeller! Hmmm... I had a lot of stuff that I finished over the holidays, so this post may be huge, and the larger chunks of it will be behind cuts. www.angelfire.com/creep/neggie/lamppost.jpg^This one's really old... It's very basic, but I was playing around with weird shadows at the time, so there's that.... Hehe... the url is creep/neggie... Somehow I found that funny at the time?? www.angelfire.com/creep/neggie/cirque.jpg^Inspired by Cirque de Soleil. I started this sometime in November and finished it Christmas day... Spot the oddities! ^I was watching a really weird kindof modern gothic version of Cinderella at one in the morning and it was such a pretty movie that I decided to draw a little based on it. ^This is so nowhere near finished or consistent it's not even funny. Eventually I'm planning to do a larger pen and ink thing slightly resembling this, but about 27x better (I hope). I have a bunch of other stuff from Christmas, but it turned out badly, so I'll save myself the humiliation and leave it at this. Comments greatly appreciated! *wink wink nudge nudge*

I’ve always wanted to try to draw something like that staircase picture, but I’m not brave enough. I like how yours turned out, especially the two centred and biggest steps (just, how they go in the same direction from different starting points looks cool). The Cinderella picture is groovy; I love your realism, it’s got lots of depth and good realistic stuff. Do you remember which Cinderella movie it was? I’ve never seen a modern gothic version before. I love the hair; it’s got a wavy thinness that makes it looks real. Cirque.jpg is cool, too. I’ve never seen Cirque du Soleil (though I want to. Have you been to it?). The shading on your picture is very real. The purple person in the back there is awesome. The lamppost is just… exactly how a lamppost should be. My street has those cool old-time lampposts, and I really dig your picture of it. The shadow reminds me of Peter Pan’s shadow.. it looks like it’s trying to get away. And it’s all just very very good. *Applauds* Brilliant, as always, Alison.

Thanks other Allison! I'm having trouble with the perspective for the staircases, so the wonkiness is only half intentional. I don't know what version of Cinderella it was, I saw it on the Women's Television Network, so it may just have been made for TV... I have the actress's name somewhere, but I don't know off the top of my head. I've never seen Cirque de Soleil in person, but I watch it whenever it's broadcast on TV. And the lamppost was actually based on one I saw in Toronto, so... Thanks again for the comment!

The lamppost is now my computer background ;D
I love these pictures, I think the lamppost would have to be my favorite... it puts in mind things like Alice in Wonderland and The Manhole (ancient computer game that I love). The Cirque de Soliel is great too... I saw one on TV once and tried to draw a picture like it, never successfully... but yours came out great ;D

Colton: That would be because Angelfire is stoopid and should be killed. I have switched. Thanks for the comment, though! Lauren: Wh00p! Thanks! Well... I have that other thread for that other thing, but I've drawn a bit of non-seriousness here and there, so I'm posting it in this ol' one. I was playing around with my pens and looky! When I do a little watercolour-y wash, the black turns purple! I'm so excited! No, seriously, I'll be doing much experimenting with this. So... the perspective is a little weird, but I was going for the "trapped under the ice" look, so... yeah. Comments?

Heheh... yeah... there's a little problem with the proportionning, Alli, but I was going for a sort of haunted look, so I hope it works. Thanks Colton!
