I think Kate's both the murderer AND the victim. Clever... trying to get us all off-track! My thoughts EXACTLY.

Tyler this is so cool. I vote for myself as the murderer, just because I already have one vote so I might as well go for more. Couldn't two people have teamed up and gone on a murderous rampage together?

Yeah, you're right. But this is going to be a simple, one-killer type of thing.

I'm typing it now. So probably in half an hour, 45 minutes... Tomorrow if Mom wakes up and sees me on the computer still, which I doubt. So if you're going to be up for at least another half hour, prepare for Chapter 2. It actually has alot of you in it...

A lot of dead disembodied me, or alive, walking talking, and breathing me? Meh I guess I'll stay up, I was probably going to anyway no matter what time I tell myself I'll go to bed at.

Chapter 2: Knives Everywhere
Pandora yawned. She had her elbows on the kitchen table, her chin on the tops her hands. Her eyes were half open. “You two bore me.”
“Really?” Sam said. “That’s too bad... This chicken is good.”
Pandora yawned again. “You two are pigs. All you’ve ever done since you’ve got here is eaten. Don’t you have a diet or something?”
“Hey, listen.” Chris said, shoving his face into roast beef. “It was your choice to come to the kitchen.”
“And what do you do at the kitchen?” Sam said, taking a bite out of his chicken wing. “You eat! If you’re not hungry, then go upstairs and meet up with the others. I heard someone scream. That’ll add some excitement to you pitiful face.”
Pandora scowled. “Oh, do shut up, Samuel. It was probably just Ann because she saw a mouse, or Tiller because he saw a wasp again and there was no ‘Ka-boom’ around.”
Chris burped. “Excuse me.” He buried his face in roast beef again.
Pandora sighed. ‘Men these days. So helpless and pitiful.’ She stood up and yawned again.
“Maybe you should take a nap.” Sam suggested, throwing away the chicken wing bone in the garbage and getting a new one from the fridge.
“Shut-up. Is that so hard to follow?” Pandora said, rolling her eyes. She headed out of the kitchen. “Oh, and by the way, if you die of obesity, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“Chicken doesn’t give you fat-“ Chris said, but Pandora drowned out his sentence but a scowl.
Pandora walked out of the kitchen and up the purple-rugged staircase that the others had gone up not too long ago. She stopped at the top, where there were two flights of stairs on either side of her. Between them, where there was flat wood, Pandora observed a statue of what looked like a swan. She sighed. The only reason she had come here was because of Jessica. She would have missed her crush so badly. She was in love with Jessica, Swans, ever since she had first joined 667 Dark Avenue Forums in August of 2003. But she didn’t know how to tell Jessica. Would she freak out? Would she hate Pandora forever? Pandora hated life. After all, being a bisexual wasn’t easy...
~~~~~~~~~~
“A knife?! Where?!” Tyler said, looking all around the room.
“Th-Th-There-“ Kate said, pointing a shaking finger at Zach’s butt. And low and behold, there it was. There was a knife in Zach’s butt pocket. His hand was on it’s handle, ready to pull it out. And he did.
Zach walked to a door and inserted the knife in the keyhole, turned, and opened the door.
He turned around to see everybody looking at him in awe. “What?” He said. “I use this all the time to sneak into locked rooms...”
Lauren huffed and puffed into the hall. “Wha- Where- What happened?!” She said. “Kate- knife- where?!” Her blue eyes followed Kate’s long, wobbling arm, down to her wiggling finger, to her nail. Then she saw the knife, and gasped.
“It’s okay, though.” Zach said. “I was only using it to open this door here. Nothing wrong with that.”
There was a strange silence in which it told everyone that that was very ersatz and strange.
“Anyways...” Kate said. “Er, you can all go to your rooms now. I mean- I’ll show you your rooms now. Yeah, that’s it. Silly old me. My purple hair is really getting to me. Anyways, sorry for this rambling- ugh. Dahlings, go to your rooms and wait by the door. I’ll give you a key which will unlock it. Now... go.”
Jessica and Ann came walking down the hall.
“What’s wrong?” Jessica asked. “I heard someone scream. Did Tragedy rape Tyler’s cat?”
“No, no- Just Zach and a knife-“ Kate said.
“Oh.” Ann said, shrugging. “Anyways...”
“Lauren, Zach- enjoy your rooms.” Kate said. “Here, Lauren. Here’s a key.” She dug in her pocket and pulled out a shiny gold key. “Your room- it’s the one with the gold door knob. Tiller, you have a special room. Why is it so special, you ask? It has a fish tank in it.”
“Really?!” Tyler said, jumping up and down with joy. “Oh, Kate- you are the best- Did I mention that your purple hair is pretty?”
“No need for thank-yous, dahling.” Kate said. She appeared to be back to her normal self. “Follow me, Tiller.”
“I’ll till for you while we go there!” Tyler said energetically.
“You do that.” Kate said. “But just follow me.”
Kate lead Tyler down a few hallways- all filled with portraits of The Magnetic Fields, mainly Stephen Merritt- and to a door with a small hole in it used for seeing whom it is when someone knocks on your door. Kate gave Tyler the key to the room. Tyler rammed the key in the keyhole, turned it on ran in- “Fishie!”
Kate sighed while walking down the hall. “What a Tiller.”
Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Now, this was unusual because no one else was around. They were either in their rooms or somewhere else. The creaking sound continued. Kate stopped at the corner she didn’t turn around it to see what was making the noise. Then she jumped out, and crashed into it-
“Pandora!” Kate screamed. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t know it was you!” Pandora had fallen on the ground from Kate ramming into her. “Here-“ Kate held out her hand and helped Pandora back to her feet. “I’m so sorry!”
“It’s okay!” Pandora said. “I should be the one to be sorry! After all, it was my fault that I escaped the kitchen from those two pigs Sam and Chris and got lost in your mansion.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry- wait. Did you say that they were pigging out in the kitchen?!” Kate said.
“Er- yeah. I warned them, but no. Their stomachs are more powerful than their brains.” Pandora said, shrugging.
“That’s dinner!” Kate screamed. “Sorry, but I have to go and stop them-“
“No, I should!” Pandora said. “I’m the one that didn’t stop them from eating!”
“But you didn’t know that it was dinner that I planned to cook-“
“You? Kate? Auroraparanoia- you cook?!” Pandora said, shocked.
“Yeah, well, not really, but if I just follow the instructions written on the wrappings-“
“I think they threw those out.”
“Oh, crap- sorry- got to go- bye- Tiller’s room- down hall- bye!” Kate said, running down the hall, down stairs, down the staircase past the swan statue, and into the kitchen-
“What are you idiots doing?!” Kate screamed at the top of her lungs.
“What are you doing, Kate?” Sam said. “There was a knife in the can of peanut butter.”
“Th-There was?” Kate said. “Oh, I don’t know how that got there- But I don’t care right now- What you two are eating is dinner! Do you want us all to starve to death?!”
Sam and Chris both felt guilty.
“I’m sorry, Kate.” Chris mumbled.
Kate blushed in awe. “Oh, it’s okay, Chris- And you, Samuel? What do you have to say for yourself, young man?”
Sam stuck out his tongue. “How was I supposed to know that that was dinner?”
“It had a sticky note on it that had dinner spelled out in capital letters! D-I-N-N-E-R! Dinner! What?! Did you eat that too? Or did you throw it out?!” Kate dug in the garbage and cut herself suddenly- “Ouch! salsa! What the hell just cut me?!” She ran to the sink to wash her cut. Chris walked over to her and assisted her. Sam looked into the garbage can and pulled out a knife.
“Is this some kind of joke?” He said, showing the knife to Kate.
“You must have put it in there!” Kate said, wincing as her cut stung of pain. “I know I didn’t.”
“She’s telling the truth, you know, Sam.” Chris said, speaking up.
“How would you know?” Sam said. “Did you put them in there? Did you help her with it?”
Kate and Chris both ignored Sam. They had their attention on each other, so they never saw Sam walk out of the room...
~~~~~~~~~~
Pandora knocked on Tyler’s bedroom door. “Hello? Tiller? Are you in there?”
Tyler opened the door. “Oh, hello, Pandora. What’s up?” He said, gesturing her into his bedroom. “Wanna see my fish tank that Kate got me?”
“Uh, no thanks. I just wanted to tell you something.” Pandora said, walking into the very blue room. She sat down on his bed. “What I was wondering was, do you ever miss your old life? You know, the one you left behind to come here?”
There was a long moment of silence in which Tyler thought about it. Did he miss his old life? “Well,” He said. “I guess I do, sort of. I miss some of my family members- and my crushes. I can’t forget them. But still, I don’t miss all the pain and misery I left behind. Why? Were you just curious?”
Pandora sighed. “Yeah, I guess I just wanted to see if I was the only one who missed it even a little bit. But I guess I’m not.”
“We all miss it in a way.” Tyler said. “Oh, I hear the dinner bell ringing. Kate must be ringing to tell us that dinner’s ready. Good. I’m hungry. I wonder what’s for dinner...”
Pandora began walking out of Tyler’s room, when she couldn’t help noticing his fish tank. “Aw, what a cute fish- er, um... Tiller? Why is there a knife in the fish tank?”
~~~~~~~~~~
Sam walked in Tragedy’s room. “Dinner’s ready.”
“I know.” Tragedy mumbled. He was observing a knife he had in his hands.
“Why do you have that?” Sam asked.
“It was in my room when I got here.”
“Oh. Well, catch you later, then.” And just as swiftly as he had walked in, Sam walked out.
~~~~~~~~~~
Dinner was ready. Kate began ringing a bell with her hand that was covered in bandages from her cut. Jessica and Ann were the first ones down into the dining room.
“Is Tragedy here yet?!” Jessica said energetically. “Huh? Huh? Huh?”
“Um, no, he’s not here yet.” Kate said.
“What’s for dinner?” Ann asked.
“Er- canned spaghetti.” Kate said, frowning. “Don’t ask. It’s a long story.”
“I’ll help you serve it.” Jessica said, walking into the kitchen to help out.
“Kate?” Ann said. “Canned spaghetti? Honestly. I expected better of you.”
“Sorry.” Kate said. “Sam and Chris ate the first dinner all up. The pigs.”
Within 10 minutes, everyone was down in the dining room, seated, with bowls of Kate’s specialty, canned spaghetti, filled in bowls in front of them. Kate was sitting next to Ann during dinner. All of a sudden, Chris screamed.
“Why the hell is there a knife in my spaghetti?!” He screamed. And true, there it was, in his bowl, covered in tomato sauce. “Kate, explain yourself.”
“B-but I didn’t do it!” Kate said honestly. “I seriously didn’t! Maybe it was Jessica. She was the one who served it-“
“And why was there a knife in Zach’s back pocket?” Tyler asked.
“And why was there a knife in my bedroom?” Tragedy asked.
“And why was there a knife in Tyler’s fish tank?” Pandora asked.
“Kate...” Jessica said.
“Why did you try to cut off our tongues, Kate?!” Chris screamed.
“I- I- I didn’t do anything!” Kate said. “I swear! I never did anything!”
“I did it.” Ann said, standing up. “I did it as a joke. I’m sick with that kind of stuff. I knew that this place would be dull, so I decided to add some spice into it but putting knives everywhere in the mansion. Sorry about all this.” She sat back down.
Everyone, in awe, turned back to their exciting dinner.
Kate whispered to Ann, “Did you really put those knives everywhere?”
“Why would I?” Ann whispered back. “I just wanted to stick up for you. After all, that’s what friends are for, right?”
“...Right...” Kate said unsurely, and turned back to her canned spaghetti.
Sorry, but it was too long to fit in one post. :/
Chapter 3 will be up soon. Don't miss it! :D

Well, maybe the knife WON'T be the murder weapon. Maybe Tyler's just putting them there to throw us off.

Good, but you should use better words for the way people speak, instead of 'said'
But I'lll keep reading-I think you've written it well.
