Nicely written Ennui. Good luck Ennui & Amber! Like Amber, I too am very preoccupied presently. It's the school holidays for a month, and my internet acess is limited. So I may seem a bit distant. Ice QueenWisps of grey sorrow, Flutter through her hair. Living a life of gracious lies, It takes more then words, To make her smile. A stern expression, Her punctured heart, Is drizzling with icicles. Icy blue eyes, Follow your every movement, She's watching you, Leaving her behind. Her many tears, Have wilted the roses, They droop downward, Like a maiden's downcast eyes. The glass is cool against your face, Pressed up against the window, Rivulets of rain, Trickle. You were the one she loved, The one who tore her apart. Her pale snowy face, Is distorted by the barrier of glass. You can't reach out to her, You can't touch her, Because she's untouchable, Her frosty world is her own.

That's good. I didn't deserve to win, I didn't post a poem.
Can I vote again?

Sorry to hear that Amber. Horray for getting this far, though. It seems like a bit of an acheviment. Good luck, again, Ennui.

Well...and I return on time...ish...tales of my travels will follow.
In the poetry slams I have attended and contested in, the custom is for the winner to recite a final poem to round off the competition. I will therefore endeavour to post a similar "clincher" as soon as possible.
Thankyou to my faithful electorate; and well done to my many deserving rivals.
I declare a resounding victory for Team Hikori!
