You can be in it Alice, of course. And you too, Triangle Eyes, although I'm afraid your role may be small. Alice do you want a last name?

Wow, really great story, although I've never read the Da Vinci Code.
You're quite aware that my name is spelled 'Jemima,' not 'Jemina,' right? Common spelling error with my username.

I'm not quite seeing the relation between the story and the book, but it's still good.
Do continue.

Yay for Sora! I like it so far. I actually didn't daze out at all once I started with the prologe. That doesn't happen often, mind you. If you need any more characters (regardless of part size) I'd be willing.. *hinthint* you can make me whatever you need me to be. Rellim Miller would be a fine name. Or Rellim, Betsy, Sloop, Elizabeth- i've got billions of them here. I don't need a part, I just like feeling useful and loved. But, continue! It's really good so far. So...cliffhangerish. *strangles*

OK here is the long awaited Chapter 2.....
Chapter 2
Swans sipped her early morning martini and went back to filing her nails. She loved her job. Swans had to do virtually nothing, and she still was raking in the millions. In fact, the hardest thing she had to do was meet with the charities that Truman Corp. sponsored, and all that really required was a smile and a wave to the cameras. She was one of the most powerful women in the world, and 10 months of the year she was on vacation. Her conference phone started to ring. “What is it now, Ennui?” she said with a sigh. The only one with her personal number was her assistant Ennui. Swans had always dreamed of having a male assistant, it was the icing on her feminist empowerment cake. She delighted in constantly making snide comments to him whenever he talked to her. “Um well, I’m sorry to disturb you Mrs. Truman…” Ennui started. “Oh for god sake you big fruit, it’s Ms, not Mrs. You always make it sound like I’ll never find anyone new. I’m not doomed to be the tragic widow of Thomas Truman forever you know.” Ennui paused on the other side of the line. “Yes, Ms. Truman, I’m very sorry. Again. But it’s something rather important. Your stepson is on the line.” Swans rolled her eyes. No doubt her dearest Rikku was calling to organize the date of their trial. Ever since Tragedy’s death, Rikku had been trying to take over Truman Corp., claiming that as the only child of Tragedy, he was the sole heir of the corporation. Which Swans was certain to put a stop too. She wasn’t just going to give up her stylish lifestyle to a little twat. She put down her nail file, and picked up the phone. “What’s the problem this time, you ugly little brat?” On Swans’s standard this was a mild insult. The line was quiet for a moment. “ How are you my dear Swans?” Swans frowned. The voice on the line was far too deep to be Rikku’s, and why was she suddenly his ‘dear Swans’? “So, your voice finally broke, huh? It’s about time you little fruit.” Swans waited for the usual snappy retort, but none came. “I believe you have me mixed up with someone else Swans. I am a friend not an enemy. I have a gift for you.” Swans raised an eyebrow, and checked her caller’s ID. Sure enough, it was still saying this was Rikku’s mobile phone. “Who are you, and why do you have Rikku’s phone?” Swans asked suspiciously. The man on the other line waited about thirty seconds, then responded. “I will not give you my name, it is far to risky. You may call me John, which is not my real name, nor is it the name of anyone I know. I think that what I have to give you is far more important than personal details.” Swans was intrigued. She got anonymous calls from time to time, but this one seemed to be actually genuine in having information on something. “What is it that you have to give to me, John?” “Info, Mrs. Truman, info. Info on a subject I’m certain you want to know more about.” “And what subject is that, John?” “667 my dear Swans, 667. Swans’s eyes widened. Info on 667? Now she was interested. Truman Corp and 667 had been bitter rivals since Truman Corp. began. In fact, Truman Corp. was basically founded as the organization that would bring 667 to its knees, begging for mercy. Everyone knew the story. Back in the late 70’s, Tragedy Truman was a high ranking official at 667. He was partners with the one and only Pandora herself, and was almost set to become CEO of 667. Then, only weeks before he was to step into the big shoes of CEO, he was framed. Framed for embezzlement, not paying his taxes, and selling company secrets to the competitors. All the accusations were somehow backed up with evidence of some sort, and Tragedy was fired from 667. The job of CEO went to his partner, Pandora and he was barred from ever working at 667 again. So Tragedy came up with an idea. He would start his own company, and have it rise above 667. Swans smiled softly. ‘He almost did.’ She thought. Now it was up to her. She had to finish what Tragedy had started. She had to bring down the biggest corporal enterprise in the world. And now this man, this ‘John’, might just be able to help her. “What do you know?” she demanded, poised and ready to take down anything. “I know only bits and pieces.” John said slowly, “But every day I am learning more. Listen closely and I will tell you what I know already. You might need to sit down.” And he began telling her what he knew.

Ooh, the suspense builds. I'm glad you wrote more. One question though: isn't Rikku a girl?

Totally bump-worthy.
Kudos for you for making Swans rich, having a "John" in the story, and for making me want more.

I know I'm soo slow with this, but I have been busy with school and the 667 Apprentice. This is the first part of Chapter 3, hopefully I'll have part 2 up by Thursday.
Chapter 3- part 1
Dante parked his car into the driveway of Antenora’s mother’s home, and ran up too the door. It opened without even a knock. "I got here as fast as I could, where’s Linda?" he said through pants while looking down to catch his breath. "What the hell gives you the right to just come here and demand to take Linda, you bastard!" Dante looked up. That voice wasn’t Antenora’s. No, that voice could only belong to one person. The dreaded voice of his mother in law, J. J had hated Dante from the day they met. Dante had know idea why, as he was always courteous when ever visiting the Florences. Nothing seemed to please her however. Even though he had a good job, made a considerable bit of money, and was deeply in love with her daughter, the old woman despised him. Eventually Dante just stopped trying to suck up to the woman, and tried as much as he could to avoid any conversation with her. The last time he had seen her was at Christmas the previous year, and Dante was still trying to erase the memory of that fiasco out of his head. "Antenora called, is Linda alright Mrs. Florence?" J looked at Dante incredulously. "Are you that pathetic, that you have to make up such stupid excuses, just so you can see and abuse my daughter some more?" At that moment, Linda and A ran out of the house and grabbed on too Dante’s legs. "Daddy!" they cried, “You came back!" Dante started to frown. What in the world was going on here? Why had Antenora called him if nothing was wrong, and she didn’t even want to see him? "Hello girls. Is your mother here?" "Get inside girls, you should be asleep." J pushed the girls inside and closed the door. "She’s out, and under no circumstances would I tell you where. If I see you at this house again, you’ll be seeing two bullets too the temple." Dante knew she was serious. He backed off the driveway, and wandered back to his car. What was all of that about? If that wasn’t Antenora on the phone, then who was it? As he drove off, Dante began to smell something coming from the western part of town. He looked out the window. Smoke was billowing from somewhere in the distance. 'Crazy kids these days.' Dante thought as he drove on home.
*********************************************************************** And as Dante drove from his ex-mother in law’s house another man was stepping a way from another deadly person. Except this guy was actually dead.

And in comes Chapter 4, and most definately Chapter 5 soon. Thank you to those who still reamin interested. u will be explained soon.
Chapter 4
The sound of B.S.A.M’s automated wake up call, always woke Derik Rewena up hours before he needed to. His wife, Pandora, was up a 5 am every morning, although Derik could think of no reason why she would be. Even though Derik had been married to Pandora for nearly 25 years, he still really had no idea what she did. She seemed to leave before he woke every morning, and come home well after he went to bed. When the two did see each other, it was almost always at dinner parties, Pandora had suddenly planned, and it made Derik feel like he was just a show item, something for her to show off to her high class friends. Derik got out of bed and slowly meandered over to his dresser. B.S.A.M popped up on the in- room screen. "Hello Derik. Ready for another exciting day at work?" Derik had absolutely know idea how B.S.A.M. worked, but all the same he had tried many a time to dismantle his screen while Pandora was out. He never ceased to make some snide comment about what he did, or his ‘position’ in the relationship. Derik was a writer, a rather spectacular one at that; having written several bestsellers in his earlier days. However, after he married Pandora, his work seemed to not get as much popularity as before, and the plain fact of the matter was that he depended on Pandora to survive. He made roughly 48,000 a year, she made 4.8 million every year. His friends admired his situation. 'The wife goes to work all day, while you can just laze back and write a few words. What a sweet life.' They’d say. Well it was a nice life. But it was dull as the dickens. Derik had always wanted children, a boy and a girl that he could raise and take care of. Pandora hated children. The whole concept disgusted her. So year after year, Derik kept trying to persuade her, and she kept saying no. Pandora was in her mid-fifties now, and Derik strongly guessed it was too late now. Derik wandered down too his kitchen and took some waffles out of the freezer and picked up his daily copy of The Times that was delivered everyday. The headline was quite interesting. Technical Knight killed in Enormous Blast apparently someone guy at from 667 international had been killed when his home burst into flames last night. The cause of the fire was unknown, however the police were claiming that it was most certainly accidental. Derik couldn’t see how that big of a blasat could be ‘accidental’ but then again, he wasn’t the police. A loud beep sound started off in the direction of the lounge. Derik frowned. There was no phone in the lounge. He walked into the room. The lounge was huge, with several televisions, most programmed only too CNN and BBC. All had a block on Playboy and Spice, a block he couldn’t alter. The beep sound continued, and Derik followed it too a corner of the house. There on the ground near a lamp was a cellphone. Derik picked it up. On the screen was a message, adressed to someone named Utopia. The Russians complied, we have enough to power a week and a half till it arrives. You need the u to go to Iran next and ask for best bid. – J Derik put the phone down. He had know idea what it meant, but the phone must belong to one of Pan’s friends. Still the message sounded sinister.
He decided that maybe another hour of sleep would be good for him.
