I can recall being offended by your generalizations; the way you speak of us, it sounds like you regard us merely as "chicks" and prospective girlfriend-types, whereas we each have a mind of our own, and we don't deserve to be spoken of as a mindless whole. Where is the chivalry in "I wouldn't mind a couple wives/girlfriends on the side"? What do people have to do to earn your respect? In my experience, I've found that it's better to respect people until they give you a reason not to, it's like the judicial law: "Innocent until proven guilty."

Admittedly there are some people here who don't make others feel welcome. It's one reason why I want to leave this forum, but I can't seem to shake the addiction. It's how every guy feels to want more than one girl? I don't believe that. Neither of us can prove it either way; I can't be a guy and see what it's like, and you can't get into the minds of other guys to see if they all have the same idea. So isn't it safer not to generalize and just say "some" guys think that way?

(alledgedly, i find it hard to beleive anyone would actually want to kiss you, you slimy jerk) you are a horrible person...

I'm not saying that it's inhuman to want more than you have. It's why so many relationships meet a rocky ending because of one person cheating on another... morally, we know it's wrong, and some people might feel horribly guilty about it, but often, the tendency is there. Whether it's a natural human trait or not, cheating on someone is a horrible way to disrespect someone. Possibly the worst way I can think of. Perhaps your friends do think the same way you do; I don't know. That still doesn't account for all the other males in the world. I have to go to bed now, I'll read your reply tomorrow. Goodnight.

I think that people who cheat on their partners don't deserve to be in a relationship with them. Because they're disrespecting both themselves and their partner, as well as the person they're having an affair with. All they show is that they're incapable to have a committed relationship with someone they love.

I agree that Luckylemon's remarks were very offensive. Although I feel sympathy for him because of his bad childhood, he shouldn't use that as an excuse for being a jerk and/or troll. No, this is irrevelant to polygamy./ That's marraige in general. He's exactly the sort of bastard who'd be in heaven with a inflatable woman and aroom/. True, but one should note that in theory polygamy could disrespect men as well, if you simply reverse the genders of the aforementioned, er, bordello situation.

look at it this way: how would you feel (males) if your wife had numerous other husbands? honestly.

well thats good for u and to tell u the truth i wish i had the same thing w/ a girl that is. I bet someday you will. But when that girl comes along, you won't want to let her go... and any girl would leave if she feeks like she's being disrespected. I really wish you the best in finding a girl who's everything you want, but you've got to be careful not to lose her.

So is this thread now about polygamy or the issue of whats-his-name's disrespect of women? Because they're both good topics.
