Is that why you still live with your parents? No time for a job with all the charity work?

Actually, that's pretty damn true. I don't get paid for acting at the Theater Project. Besides, I'm only 15. Not as if I can move out yet.

That's a joke.

I was makign sure the juggling bit was a joke. I see. Yeah, I've had a vicious migraine for the past few days and I'm getting rather grumpy about the whole thing.

Just a question that someone might know the answer to: What does the Bible say about abortion and adoption? (Were those even issues in Biblical times?) I'm just wondering this because it might help me understand where the religious arguements against abortion are coming from. This is a bit of delayed reaction, because I couldn't find the verse I was looking for... finally, I did find it: Exodus 21:22-25, NIV: "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for thooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."Also, in Psalm 139, it discusses that the unborn child is formed by God: Verse 13 - "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb."Verse 15-16 - "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Thanks much, I shall try. Though if I take much more asprin I'll completely destroy the lining of my stomach. The Bible quotes are quite lovely, thank you. And here's an interesting tibit of history on abortions: It used to be that a baby was not considered a person until it was independent from its mother. So, as the baby was being pushed through the birth canal, it would be stabbed in the head before it came out fully. Pleasant? No. And the difference between it and modern abortion? A few months. Hardly a substantial difference.
