Well if you were looking for a superior race of men in Middle Earth you'd probably choose the Numenoreans.

This thread has long ceased making sense. So yeah. Middle Earth.

Whenever I see this thread, I always smile and consider saying something about how this thread sounds racist, but I really don't like LOTR all that much and don't know what to put.

Yes! *high fives PJ* Well it's not racist see, because the only one that exists in the real world is the race of men.

Yup. Though I wish Tolkien told us more of what happened after the series ended. Like whether or not the dwarves rebuilt moria, what happened to the elves that stayed in Middle Earth, did men rebuild Arnor and Osgiliath and Minas Ithil... wasn't arnor split into three different pieces because men couldn't learn to get past eacother's petty differences? Wouldn't the black numenoreans attack the men who are rebuilding? And, also, couldn't another balrog come and retake moria, or were they all killed?

No, King Elessar made peace with the people of Harad and the Easterlings (these include I guess the Black Numenoreans) so I don't think there'd be war between men.
But more balrogs could emerge yes, though I doubt another would come to Moria.
And yes, Arnor was split into 3 pieces by King Earendur's sons, the three realms were: Arthedain, Rhudaur, and Cardolan.
But now the king rules both Arnor and Gondor so they won't be split.

There actually may be 3 still left in Middle Earth after the series. There were originally 5 wizards who arrived around year 1000 of the Third Age. 2 were blue wizards who disappeared into the Barbaric East(I can't find a map of the east of Middle Earth) and these blue ones never came back. Saruman the White was their chief and he returned from the East. We all know he fortified Isengard and turned traitor. There was Radagast but he fell so far in love with the animals of Middle Earth that he forgot his mission to stop Sauron. And then of course there was Gandalf. Saruman is dead and Gandalf back in the Undying Lands. Assuming the blue ones aren't dead there are still 3 wizards(istari) left running around.
