Discuss the awesomeness.
I thought it was really well-cast. And Michael Cera did a pretty good job of being Scott Pilgrim instead of just Michael Cera in a Scott Pilgrim outfit.
I love how they kept a lot of the little labels and stuff from the comic book. And the pee-meter joke stayed in, which made me happy.
Oh and the soundtrack is flipping fantastic.

I can't WAIT to see it, there are MAJOR MAN CANDIES in that movie, and Michael Cera is uber-cute looking too. The movie doesn't open in theaters here in Brazil at least until November so I'm really eager to see it, but I already got the soundtrack and I love it.

They did such a good job with the Sex Bob-omb songs.

I wanna buy the brazillian edition but it's a whopping 35 bucks and I can't afford it, not this month.

Yeah I went to see this movie when there was nothing else on. And to be honest, I was actually quite surprised. Because I'm quite the gamer, I didn't know that most of it was going to be centered around that, nor that it was a comic. It seems that they're making a lot of movies out of comics now, like Kick Ass, Batman, Superman, all of the originals. But yes, I must say I was quite impressed with this movie indeed. (:

I saw it with my boyfriend on the opening day in Vancouver, in a packed theatre. We were delighted by it, as was the audience. Wallace in particular was my favourite (and the favourite of the audience in general) and the sheer Canadian-ness of it all was delightful. I also liked the scene where Scott was ripped through that NYC backdrop for the movie shooting. I'm sure dear Torontonians were quite amused at that poke about their city always serving as a New York (Or Chicago) stand-in.

I own both volumes. The brazillian editions are two-in-one editions. Books 1 & 2 are one book, and Books 3 & 4 are another. I bought both in november and I've read them like 20 times already. My favorite character is Wallace!

I bought the Australian two disc collectors edition and it's seriously amazing. The behind the scenes stuff is incredible!
Ramona: Were you the pacman guy? Scott: No no that was some total as...I was the other guy...

Yes. He's my favorite character. I actually am a real-life version of Wallace, with the volume turned up.
