Thanks, guys. I did indeed have a great birthday. I planned it out a bit before, but it was small moments that made it a particularly delightful day. Small moments like a bit of reflective time kneeling on the swing-seat while holding on to the top of it (if that made sense) and listening to my father recite stupid puns to my dog, who wasn't interested. Or walking into the home entertainment section of a department store and getting to see, on about a million screens in gorgeous definition, a goodish part of a movie that I had only ever seen in absolutely rubbish quality. Or going next to an Italian restaurant (my favourite type of cuisine) and getting served by a remarkably good-looking waiter. None of those moments or touches were pre-planned. Well, going into the department store was planned, as was going to the restaurant, but on the whole, it was little things that I liked best.

'Twas Disney's Tangled, which is not the best movie in the world and has terrible music, but, one has to admit, is fun. The animation is lovely, too and the quality that I had seen it in before absolutely sucked.
