I think you'll find that Harry Potter was actually honest, brave, courageous and attracted to girls in real life who were his own age. Harry Potter is a book character, so someone could decide who he's going to fall in love with. In real life nobody can, so sometimes love doesn't go where you expect it to. And also if I didn't know that (the first part of) your sig is a kind of inside joke, I would be impressed by its irony.

When I was a kid, I remember people telling me I look like Harry Potter when the first movie adaptation came out, even though I looked like that since I was, like, five. I finally got annoyed by it and changed my haircut.

I think you'll find that Harry Potter was actually honest, brave, courageous and attracted to girls in real life who were his own age. I think you'll find that justifying your insults as "jokes" and telling people "not to take everything so seriously" only works for so long. In the same vein, I don't think many of us besides ~willpanannirim~ are likely to step up and say that you're being less of a jerk than we are. Also, Harry Potter marrying his best friend's little sister is no more normal than Anka/Mister M.

I agree with Anka's post, and most of yours, Bandit, but could you help me understand why we're bigger jerks than Bee? (In this instance or any other?)

Bandit, your personal text sums up my feelings right now.
And Terry, I don't think that's what Bandit said.

Is an arguement happening right now just because I said Mister M reminded me of Harry?

There will be no foul behavior in my classroom. Peeves, for the last time, would you please stop stirring up trouble with the students?

And Terry, I don't think that's what Bandit said. I re-read Bandit's sentence I was referring to and I think that's pretty much what he said. Otherwise I completely agree with what he said, I just genuinely don't understand that one bit, so maybe he'll care to elaborate on it.

That's not what I said. I meant the opposite, that most of us here are probably not willing to defend Bee.

Is an arguement happening right now just because I said Mister M reminded me of Harry? I wouldn't necessarily call it an argument. It's more like just stating observations.

It's not really an argument, more like people stating their opinions.
