This interview takes place in 1940, just before the birth of Bella. 1. Name? Arthur A. Poe at your service, madam 2. Date of birth and age? I'm 33. 3. Any piercings/tattoos/other body modifications? No. Tattoos are for people who don't feel comfortable in their own skin. 4. Do you have a significant other? My wife, Polly, of 13 years. 5. Do you have children? If not, do you want them in the future? *smiles* Polly and I have two sons, Albert and Edgar, who are 13 and 11. We also have a third child on the way, but we don't know if it's a girl or a boy. I'm betting it's another boy, but a girl would be a wonderful change. 6. What were your grades like in primary and secondary school? I got Bs and As. 7. Did you do post-secondary education? If so where and what degree do you have? I have a BA in Business Studies. 8. Where is your hometown? Where else have you lived? Where do live now? I live in The City with my family. 9. What is the worst physical pain you've felt? Burns to my arms and smoke inhalation from a hotel fire I was in. I can't tell you how much it hurt, but it was all worth it to save little Carmelita's life. 10. What is your favorite holiday? Briny Beach every summer. We might not go this year, though, because the baby would be here by then, and newborn babies and beaches don't mix. 11. What is your least favorite food? Spinach. It makes me cough. 12. Describe the happiest day in your life. Finding out that Polly was pregnant for the third time. We were thinking about divorce before we found out. I'm so happy that this baby has brought us closer together. 13. Do you play any instruments? If so, what? No. 14. Hair color/eye color? I have brown hair and blue eyes. 15. Have you ever had braces? No.

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually like Mr. Poe. And it's your fault, Beth! ^^ The fact that he saved Carmelita from the fire makes me like him even more. Aaahhh! XD
I guess Polly must cook a lot of spinach, considering the amount of times her husband has coughed in the books. Hmm...I wonder if anyone's ever taken the time to count how many?
I hope their third child is a girl, too!

Emma, they do have a girl! She's Bella ^_^
1. Name? My full name is Pollyanna, but please call me Polly.
2. Date of birth and age? I'm 38.
3. Any piercings/tattoos/other body modifications? I only have my ears pierced. I often wear pearl earrings.
4. Do you have a significant other? Yes. My husband, Arthur. He's a bit dim sometimes, but he's a sweet man really.
5. Do you have children? If not, do you want them in the future? I have two sons and a baby in my belly, as you can plainly see! My boys are 11 and 13. My baby's due in a month.
6. What were your grades like in primary and secondary school? Bs and Cs.
7. Did you do post-secondary education? If so where and what degree do you have? I didn't have any adult education. While I was in my 20s, I had planned to MAYBE go to university, but then I became pregnant. So I became a stay-at-home mother.
8. Where is your hometown? Where else have you lived? Where do live now? I live in The City with my family. I'm originally from New York City.
9. What is the worst physical pain you've felt? Besides childbirth? When I had appendicitis in my teens.
10. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas.
11. What is your least favorite food? Haddock. No. Just no.
12. Describe the happiest day in your life. This may sound like favouritism, but the birth of my eldest son. My parents aren't huge fans of sex before marriage, and they weren't impressed when I told them that I was pregnant. They "influenced" Arthur and I to marry, even though Arthur still wasn't one hundred per cent sure. But when Bertie was born, I felt so proud of myself, and of him. Good on you, Bertie! Mommy loves you!
13. Do you play any instruments? If so, what? No.
14. Hair color/eye color? I have blonde hair and green eyes.
15. Have you ever had braces? No.

Bella is such a pretty name! It always makes me think of the character in the Twilight books, which I really liked. ^^ Is Polly after Pollyanna in the Disney movie of the same name? Either way, I love what you've done with Mrs. Poe. It's nice to think she'd be this likable in the books. Her parents sound quite annoying, as well as old-fashioned. Why should two people marry if they don't want to? As long as they love each other, and are devoted to one another, then that's the important thing, people! *EDIT* I just noticed that you made Polly the older one in the relationship. That is so cool!

6. What were your grades like in primary and secondary school? P: Oh goodness! They were awful! But hey! I tried. F: I wasn't really a good student. I never graduated from high school because I didn't feel up to the challenge, especially with a kid on the way.
7. Did you do post-secondary education? If so where and what degree do you have? P: I have worked in a lumbermill all my life, and to be honest, you don't really need any qualifications for that! I've often thought about re-training as a therapist, though. Now that I've had therapy myself. F: What kind of question is that? Of course I don't have any degrees.

14. Hair color/eye color? P: Blue eyes and white hair. F: Green eyes and blonde hair.
15. Have you ever had braces? F: Yes, I had them when I was 14. P: No.

Aww, Phil! I'd forgotten about him until I read this. ^^'' I didn't notice the first name initials beside their answers to the second question, so until Faith mentioned that her thirteen-year-old daughter was born when she was seventeen, I thought Faith was the older one in the relationship. Which still would have been very, very cool.
Even though you've only just introduced her, the flute seems like it would be Faith's kind of intrigue mmm ent. I'd like very much to see her take it up.

Michelle's mother sounds like a fine lady. It's so nice of her to have adopted Dewey and his two brothers - even Ernest who, if I recall correctly, you portray as having a bit of a foul mouth. XD I guess Lisa Ann is the parent from whom Michelle inherited her musical abilities as well.

Yes, Michelle got her musical abilities from her mom. Michelle and Ernest are both foul mouthed, but Michelle is even more foul mouthed.

Lisa is adorable ^_^ May I ask, what happened to the triplets' biological mother? Did she die, or are they divorced?
EDIT: By the way, is Frank's wife Elenora Mr. Poe's sister? Or is it just coincidence?

Yep. Fact: I actually got mail from them in grade 11. Bah, I can't afford private college. And besides, Iowa is boring.
