Now, that's some good news.

Now, that is an interesting development. Have people just begun arguing over me? How flattering. Bear, in my Native language, we have the term "bookworm" too, and we have another term that translates into "reading rat". That is, because a worm slowly and carefully eats itself through one thing, while a rat eats as much as it can at a time. As a child, I very much preferred the term "reading rat" for myself, because of how cute rats are, but growing up, I realised that I am much more of a bookworm. I am not Klaus Baudelaire, who has read everything. I am not the Rory Gilmore type of person, who reads every well-known book in order to say that they've liked it, and to repeat the general opinion of it. I read what I like, what I care about, what interests me, and what I get to read, and I tend to be invest myself very much in books, long after reading, and I am very much excited about the books I have yet to read. I am sorry, if I can't keep up with your high standards, but I am afraid you will have to get over it. I can tell you names - but I don't see a point in it. Would you then tell me if it countrs as reading, or not? well you already gave me some names, and i didn't like em, that's all. i never insulted your personal relationship with reading or how much you've read, as i couldn't possibly know. i just wanna talk about some books. i think you'll find most everyone else here shares your interests, i guess lemony snicket breeds a type.

You don't have to like them - after all, there are many, many types of books in the world, which makes good sense, because there are many, many types of people, and everybody wants to read something different. My post was as a response to yours saying "owe me some names," not to your personal taste in books, or your opinion of my own taste.

Hello I just googled translations for the word bookworm to find out which language has one that literally means reading rat and a minute after giving up I realised that the only language that seems to have that is my own native language.

Hello, Chiara! Welcome to 667! I've very much enjoyed reading all your comments in this thread.
Do you have a favourite ASOUE character? And, of the books which have been adapted for Season 2, is there a particular one you're most looking forward to watching?

Hello, violetBUNfortunate! Thank you My favourite character... in all honesty, I suppose it is Lemony Snicket himself. But there's plenty of characters I love. As for what book I look most forward too, it's insanely difficult to say. TEE, because of the aesthetic, TAA because of the ball scene and the Quagmires, the CC because of the whole Carnival/Circus atmosphere... but actually, all of them.

Good choices! My favourite character is (unsurprisingly) Violet, but Lemony is certainly high up my list. And just seeing all those things listed is making me all the more excited for, well, everything! I hope you'll be joining in the post-watching discussions on here after the season has dropped.
