The four dials on the larger illustration of the spyglass are, left to right: Greek lowercase, digits, Cherokee syllabics, and lastly a collection of symbols I cannot recognize. I was mistaken; what I took for Cherokee is the Alphabet of the Magi designed by a 17th century alchemist and occultist. Which fits the occult theme established by the astronomical/astrological symbols. Runes also have a long history of usage in divination and magic.Still not sure about that last one, but it bears an aesthetic resemblance to Mongolian. Perhaps these aren't letters, but some sort of diagram corresponding to different spyglass functions, e.g. some resemble iconic representations of televisions or movie screens. Spyglass screenshots from TEE where the symbols are visible. We also see that the Alphabet of the Magi dial has an eye, which if aligned properly will activate the light function. The Arabic numeral dial isn't present on the actual prop shown in season 2, though it does appear in the opening credits and I think in the first season when Monty was using his spyglass. There is something in the Incomplete History about spyglasses being customized by their users.
