Imagine if somebody designed ASOUE Cluedo. Klaus as Professor Plum, Mr Poe as Colonel Mustard, Violet as Miss Scarlet, Olaf as Reverend Green, Sunny as Mrs White, and Esme as Mrs Peacock. Jerome has been murdered, and Justice Strauss has rounded up 6 people, giving them 24 hours to solve the mystery. The murder weapons? A necktie, a bottle of parsley soda, (TEE) a sharp knife, a bottle of venom from the Mamba du Mal, (TRR) a filing cabinet, (THH) and a swarm of Lachrymose Leeches (TWW). The rooms are Count Olaf's House, The Reptile Room, The Anxious Clown, the stamping room in Lucky Smells Lumbermill, The Orphan's Shack, Cafe Salmonella, the Deluxe Cell, and, of course, the Library Of Records. And why stop there? Think of all the places you could have for ASOUE Monopoly! 667 Dark Avenue, Heimlich Hospital, the village of V.F.D, Olaf's House, Thingy-Carnival, Aunt Josephine's House, etc. etc. etc. I'm popping into this thread FAR too late, but I just wanted to say that ASOUE Clue/do would rock, even though I suck at Clue/do. I got my copy at Wizards of the Coast for like...twenty, twenty-five bucks. It's a great game, but my one complaint is that it's so HARD for Olaf to win, which is why I advocate totally screwing over the rules. I have a rule where Olaf has a range of five blocks where he can use Tragedy cards, and someone else on this board was playing with cardboard henchmen (which I totally will have to do).

'Twas me with the cardboard henchmen. I had Esme, who could play Tragedy cards like Olaf, and the hook-handed man, who couldn't play cards for logical reasons, but had his own way of inflicting damage on the guardian. Once I played a game where Olaf could put a red token on two squares each turn "burning the house down", which would prevent the children from going there. I thought of ASOUE Clue at some point, and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one.

I got it a while ago. It takes a while to figure out how to play it, what with each player having different rules and stuff. So... it was kinda confusing, and all the setup and explaining really wasn't worth the small amount of actual playtime we had. Also, it's not a game that anyone I know wants to play. So, given the opportunity again, I don't think I'd go pay the $25 for it.

I have everything ever made that is related to snicket Books,Game,T-Shirt,8ball,and even the puzzle!!! The Puzzle's kind of cheap though it doesnt even have a real ASOUE picture on by B.H. Its like the picture on the 8-Ball. Looks like it was made in the computer. But I live in Iowa. I hate Iowa.
Wait a sec I don't have the dreadful diary I must go buy it! muh ha ha ha
Does anyone know of any other LS stuff?

WHAT?! You're saying that if you could, you would REJECT SNICKET MERCHANDISE?!!! That is a sacrelige! Yes, I would... because it seems to be a way to make money. Same with the Blank Book and the eight-ball... no real relevence to the series, just a way to get people to buy more merchandise. I'm not rejecting the books themselves. To me, that's what seems to be sacreligious, rather than rejecting the money-making plows. Also, I do have the t-shirt... but it's cool, and it's useful for something (i.e. keeping me un-shirtless).

How is the 8-ball irrelevant to the series? By using it, you can find out if you're as unlucky as the Baudelaires! Oh, all right. Everything is just a money-making scheme, but I like the stuff anyway. You're right about the book/sacrilege thing. It's the books that are important, not the merchandise. But I'll still probably buy everything else there is to buy that's ASoUE/LS-related.

Who's the person in the doorway? There's the calendar, boxed sets, buttons, The Blank Book, and tons of other stuff, I'm sure. You don't have everything. You don't have the movie, for example. Ya don't have everything.

Just that I wish I hadn't spent $25 on a game I never play, and which doesn't help me better understand the series at all. If other people like it, that's fine. I just wasn't thrilled by it. Just a matter of personal preference. The calender, on the other hand, has little clues and such, so that is relevent to the series. Sort of.

I have the blank book the calender the buttons and all the suuff tht you can get from the box sets like the iron on and stuff. And I even have the magnets and boxes from the box sets and don't worry I'll get the movie when it comes out!

Yet, you didn't mention those things in your earlier post? Yeah right! I'm not worried about whether or not you get the movie. DON'T BE ASSUMPTIOUS!!! I HATE PEOPLE WHO CONSTANTLY ASSUME THINGS!!! So, uh, I'd advise against assuming stuff around me. [sarcasm]BTW, Do you have the TBB and TRR curtains? They're awesome! I don't have the TWW curtains, though. [/sarcasm]
