I agree with Beth about that glucose tolerance test. I can't think of a more fitting description than 'demon juice' Willow's bridesmaid dress sounds so pretty, as does the one she wore to prom. I didn't go to mine, but from what I heard, ours had the same rule, where a senior (or junior, as we also had a junior prom), could take someone younger, but needed permission from the principal, if the person went to a different school. Reverie's room sounds so cute! It was so sweet of Vince to buy her the flannel elephant, and bring back the conch for Willow. I certainly hope their yearbook have a category for Best Boyfriend. ^^

I can't say much without it sounding like my rendition of everything Dante has already said, but I'll do my best. While I have yet to finish the first volume in ATWQ, I think your interpretation of the characters is spot-on. I like that you've included R, and her unique personality is just how I imagine she'd be. I seem to recall in ASoUE Kit's mention of how "tea should be as bitter as wormwood and sharp as a two-edged knife". It was cool to learn that she didn't always feel that way.

My bookmarks appear to be functioning. I hope you're able to resolve the problem with yours soon, Hermes.

beth: I agree with Seymour: everyone's take on the characters is different, so there's no reason why you shouldn't do an interview - or interviews, if you'd prefer - with the Denouement triplets. Your take on Justice Strauss is pretty much the way I imagine her. I've always pictured her being older, like late forties or early fifties. Her being continuously late to court is another thing that strikes me as being particularly canonical. xD It is now. ^^ Actually, I think that's probably the best way to describe my eyes. My mom says they're hazel, while everyone else says they're brown, unless I tell them otherwise. *EDIT* michelle: I commented on Beth's interview first, when I intended to read yours next and comment before posting. I'm sorry! Anyway, it's wonderful that Walter was able to establish contact with Brittany after giving her up for adoption. How old was she when she met her birthparents?

michelle: I'm glad that Willow's labor wasn't as bad as it could have been. I commend her for getting through it without any pain medication - that could not have been easy! I feel for Sam. I've had cysts before, though thankfully it wasn't anything serious. I should also tell you that White Teeth is also a book, which you can find at your local library. The White Teeth miniseries is on Netflix, just so you know. I have a comic to return to the library in a few weeks, so I'll look for White Teeth then. I searched for the series on Netflix Stream, but I guess it must only be available in DVD format. Ah, well. I'll figure it out. ^^

I remember that episode well - I thought it was one of the more emotional ones. Even though the series got cancelled, I did think the ending was a bit too abrupt. It's actually funny you should mention Freaks and Geeks, as I thought it looked like something you and Quags would both like. I saw a few episodes when the show was still new, but it wasn't until I discovered it on Netflix that I watched it from start to finish on Netflix.

congrats, Linda! I first mistyped "congrats" as "congarats" which made me imagine rats in a conga line. that was fun. Rats are awesome. :3 And so is Linda. Congratulations!

I'm glad it isn't just me who's wondered this. However, I don't think it's us, but rather the person, and their inability to read others' expressions. I think a lot of the time, people who look at someone will mistake their seriousness or concentration for sadness. I had an experience similar to the one I had today once before (coincidentally, this one also occurred in a store). An old lady I didn't know came up to me, grabbed my hands, and exclaimed, "You look like the saddest girl I've ever seen!" It was really startling, because I wasn't sad, I was bored, and maybe a little bit nervous. I think I told her I wasn't sad, but that didn't stop me from feeling really confused.

Today at the grocery store, while I was standing at the cold-cuts counter, I took a drink of water from my water bottle, and the salesman says to me, "Hey, is that vodka? Can I have some?" I felt awkward, but smiled anyway, to which he added, "I'm glad I made ya smile!" The way he said it seemed to imply that I never smile, but this guy isn't someone I see usually run in to, so I don't think he meant anything by it. XD

Welcome back, tigerseye! I remember you from Shelly's ASoQE thread...I think we even exchanged a few words. I was gone for a while, and recently returned myself. It's nice to see another face from the old days. or please go away.... although i think that's more of an instruction than a name

I love 'Francis' for Frank's birth name! He just seems like a Francis, to me. How did he and Elenora become involved?

@seymour: I remember you telling me about White Teeth - which I still need to watch. I know, I'm awful! >.< Regardless, I enjoyed your outtake very much. When Mr. Hero started talking about fish, I expected Jerome to comment on how it's a food he doesn't particularly like. XD michelle: It's good that Michelle has always been the responsible type, and even better that she passed this trait onto Willow and Jordan.

Maybe you can have Beatrice mention her allergy to peppermint and someone can say that it's about as uncommon as a peanut allergy. It's very funny you should suggest that, because I was actually planning to do a scene where Beatrice's peppermint allergy is revealed to Jerome and company. Your idea for someone saying it's as uncommon as a peanut allergy will definitely spice it up and enhance the ASoUE atmosphere. Thank you, Seymour. In my mind, I see the comment coming from either Bertrand or Jacques. Lemony is excluded because I can't see him making even the slightest light of his girlfriend's affliction. I didn't know that. Well, it looks as though I've gotten my history lesson for the day. ^^

Wow, Tryina, you're a really good artist! I especially like your cover illustration/poster art for WCIBATH, and your most recent piece. I like how you've merged the manga style with your own in that.
