lol, Monty's Maze is not a very hard one, is it? At least if you enter from the Southeast or Northwest. Any other way makes it impossible to get to the center. I guess it's a sacrifice for the cool eye design. I do like the idea of a maze in the first place, though. Very The Shining. Especially with Stephano roaming it in that one shot. Well you're not supposed to have a map of a maze when you go into them. So technically anyone who doesn't know the right entrance would still get lost.

lol a 53 second teaser, not even a trailer, teasing what will be a series that is approximately 7-8 hours in length has given you enough insight to say it will suck? How is a trailer defined? I would have thought that this was one, as unlike the previous one it actually contains scenes from the series. It is described as a teaser on the video it's self by Netflix. To answer your question, though, a trailer is usually more candid about what the plot is. This is a character teaser about Olaf and how other characters perceive him. Those who have not read the books still do not know what the series is about based on that alone.

I don't understand the hard handed criticism of NPH based on 5 words in such a short teaser. It's a flash in a pan. In the same way someone who is rather attractive but is caught off guard when photographed can look unappealing in a the resulting photo, that line without context shouldn't be so heavily scrutinized.
NPH is a gifted actor who is versatile. I don't know if any here has seen Gone Girl, but if you need proof of that watch that movie.

New Actor cast Reveal - Plus very promising insight on the Series from said actors interview - www.indiewire.com/2016/08/rhys-darbys-x-files-flight-of-the-conchords-wrecked-series-of-unfortunate-events-1201712505/"Rhys Darby is keeping busy. When IndieWire got the New Zealander on the phone, he was in Vancouver filming an unspecified role in the upcoming series adaptation of “A Series of Unfortunate Events.” It was a project he described as “amazing,” even compared to other large-scale productions he’s been a part of, like the recent revival of “The X-Files.” “It’s a Netflix show, so no money spared,” he said. “There’s absolute attention to detail on these huge sets — I walk into them and I think, ‘Wow, is this all real?’ And of course, it’s not, but it’s huge. I haven’t really done anything quite like it. It’s like being in a big Hollywood fantasy film.” And insight from the Hook Handed Man, Usman Ally. -

I'd already uploaded it to 667's Twitter, too, so there's no need for watermarks when you can find it here. I did think the picture was unusually revealing; I guess it violated some guidelines, but it's too late for that now! Oh, I didn't know. That copy is way better.

The Account has been taking down and thus the image is gone, but fortunately the internet always makes back up copies. So for those who missed here it is, you'll have to settle for the image with a watermark on it - tinyurl.com/z36qvhe

Cat in the Hat was panned for it's abysmal writing, something Bo had nothing to do with.
Bo is known for his world building and orchestrating the production behind creating great looking sets - and it was on this one note that The Cat in the Hat got maybe it's one and only, consistent, positive critique.
Considering that Handler is doing the writing here I see no reason to worry yet, for those episodes.

Hey, guys new here. Very excited about the upcoming series.
I just wanted to say that I could overlook the detail of Violet wearing pink because it was such a small characterization said in passing that never really existed beyond that.
The book itself is inconsistent with what the Baudelaires are wearing. It could be, as another user already pointed out, them wearing the clothes Poe bought for them.
Sorry, I just hope that detail doesn't snowball into something bigger and people are screaming "Netflix already screwed up!". They look to be doing a good job so far.
