Well I'm pretty much stumped on who to pick for the temporary moderator. There were so many terrible applications. I even got one that said, " please let me be a temperary moderayor please"
At the moment I'm leaning towards either VioletB or Pandora.
Any thoughts?

Harsh perhaps, but the more evidence I see, the more I believe my above statement. I thought it would add some interest if you all posted reasons why you think certain members shouldn't be moderator... Like an anti-application. Sure, it's a very cruel thing to do, and most of you are probably too civilized to even post any dirt, but I'm very bored at the moment and too sore to get up and do anything. Your sadistic invitation encourages candidates to attack one another for your cruel pleasure like the gladiators of old then you tell us that you are disappointed that none of the people you really wanted applied. Yes... But if you want to know the truth none of the people I really wanted to see as moderators applied! I guess I just have to pick. Thereby crapping on the people who applied that actually wanted to help you and this silly little board. As for my own aspirations for moderator, I would have been shocked and dismayed to be picked because even though I AM the most qualified of any of you (overqualified says Pester and I tend to concour) I am also the secret leader of a ruthless terrorist organization bent on world domination... thereby having little time to devote to my new position...  I'm also dismayed that you are flying in the faces of your own trusted mods and assistants and their educated picks: Swans: Fife Klaus & Souffle: Kobo Can I just make my choice? That was 6 days ago. Why don't you pick Fife? She's wants to help this board and is a good fit for the sections she would be looking after, something I don't really feel inclined to do anymore. Pick Snicketfires Pick J Pick someone. It's been 8 days. And that section needs a moderator. But at least treat those that care seemingly more about this place than you do a little dignity. |

I think that no one has mentioned Pandora or VioletB because I never mentioned that they applied. You and Fife have been getting all the attention because of the big arguements.
And yes, it was a sadistic invitation, as you said. What of it?

Besides, you may have noticed I haven't been around much anymore. We might need a temporary administrator too.

We might need a temporary administrator too. Here is a novel solution. Trust those that you have already given the keys to the kingdom. Put it up to a Mod vote and be done with it. Just because you haven't around is no excuse for letting the board go unattended. Appoint a second in charge, I suggest Swans and go take a vacation. I have a villa in Switzerland I would be happy to loan you for a week. |

Which is exactly why you should peg Swans to be temp admin. You know she'll eventually break down and do it for the good of the land. |

I think he and swans are planning to overthrow me and perhaps elope and become Dark King and Queen of 667. Anyways, swans said herself she doesn't even want to be a moderator. |
