I usually just mumble swears under my breath and then daydream about bashing my peers' heads in with my flute, but tomorrow, I am trying out a way to really hit them were it hurts.
I'll say, "shut up! You don't know what I'm going through--my family is going through some rough times, someone close to me might die and I'm upset. And having to deal with snobs like you is just making it worse.""
The last and the first one are true because one can never be truly, entirely happy and have reached a level of inner peace, and the middle one is true because anyone might die. Watch them turn red and apologize, (unless they're insensitive) and say "So, you're mean to me when you think I'm OK but when you find out I'm going through hard times you're sorry? You disgust me--why can't you be nice to people even if they're not going through rough times?" It'll teach 'em to be nice amd watch their words.
Now, normally I'd feel extraordinarily guilty making up such lies but they're not lies, as I pointed out, and if you shut a bully up for yourself, you might prevent them from verbally abusing other people.
If the bullies are insensitive, try to say it in front of a teacher...

Ha. That's a good one.
I usually just ignored them, tried to stay away from them and enjoyed myself with my friends and without thinking of them. I never got bullied really badly, so that always worked for me.
Still, I know a kid who did. Eventually he just started making fun of himself so people wouldn't have to do it for him. I felt really bad for him, but went with the ignoring and not standing up for people because I didn't want to be bullied.
Bullying is a hard thing to get around. Bullies can be really insensitive and stupid, and lots of stuff just doesn't bug them... Guh.
*thinks back to Degrassi High, OotP* Ah... bullying.

Hmm I don't think I ever had any real bullies in my life. I mean everybody was mean to someone else in my class and we all did acts of bullying but never all the time and never without reasons that were at least justifiable in someone's own head. Anyone that bullied me anytime in school was also my friend before or after it happened.
Also I think the only people to ever bully me were girls. Which was just us being mean and silly like we sometimes were.

I've also never had a problem with bullying, if only because I'm a very inconspicous little girl, and the people who do notice me are frightened of me, to some degree, because they think I'm liable to blow up the school, or something.
But when someone does bug me, or pick on me, or whatever, I just tilt my head to the side and stare blankly at them. And then I find it sort of funny, and I burst out laughing.
And they're even more frightened of me.
I have no idea why this works.
I'd be the first and last to know...*shrugs*

I seem to get picked up a lot. Mostly by the boys..they think im weird and from another planet. They always disrupt the class and blame it on me when they get in trouble, claiming Im a witch. And did I mention that I have mostly the same people in my classes?..ugh..
And the teachers do notice this sometimes, they try to help.

Oh they say you are a witch? I think that's pretty cool. The girls called me a magee, the guys didn't since all of them liked me at one time when I was popular, eh no one ever called me a witch.
There was this big ugly thing between my friends and the rest of the class but it wasn't bullying and I found it pretty fun. Chaos is fun.
