I think its just as superficial to judge a person on grammar as it is to judge a person based on looks, atleast on an internet forum. It's just the surface, and you'd be judging a person without really knowing them. That can be true, and it's possible for a person with a great personality could have terrible grammar and spelling. However, bad grammar and spelling annoys me more than almost anything else on a forum, and I tend to get angry and say less-than-kind things to people with terrible spelling, which makes them never want to talk to me again. I don't freak out about every single little mistake, though. Even people that care a lot about spelling and grammar slip up occasionally, including me.

There are many people who don't bother to correct grammar and spelling after typing a message, publishing content, etc. Grant it you won't find Spell Check everywhere, but when the tool is right there, all you have to do is click, do you use it? Do you think it matters? Personally, I don't think anything should be posted/published without checking for errors. Simple mistakes are easily caught by readers. Often people can form an opinion about you just by your spelling/grammar skills. Do you agree? I rarely use it.

No, I don't use spell-check. My spelling and grammar are pretty accurate...and I don't see why one can't use proper spelling and grammar - it really doesn't take that much more time or effort or whatever...
