Well just ignore Tom and he won't bother you. I don't really mind him anymore, I don't care if he stays or goes.

I can't say he has really bothered me at all. He only bothers people if you comment on what he says. Some people have yet to realize that.

I am giving Tom one more chance.
I chatted with him on AIM about it.
Does anyone truly know why Tom has been acting like a jerk? I do. It was because people were mean to him first. And I believe it.
Than we had this chat about "Who cares if people make fun of you?! People make fun of me all the time! And I'm still living!"
Then I told him this:
"The evilness won't go away. You're going to have to face it. And I mean sensibly. There are many punks at 667 who think they're gods. And they gang up on their prey. Ya know what ya gotta do? Ignore them. They're jerks and you know it. So, just ignore them."
And he said okay.
I don't know if that will change him. It might. We'll see...

Hum...time for my two cents.
Tommy....I remember Tom. I mean, before he messed it all up.
At first, he was pretty cool. Well, not "cool", but he wasn't annoying or evil. He had around 20-something posts, so I didn't know him well, but he wasn't bad.
Then, he started a thread entitled "MADAMEVIOLET!", the gist of which was "Will you marry me for no reason whatsoever?".
Which, not suprisingly, was not received well. I said "No" a couple of times, various people sneered, he cried and he left. So I'm assuming this is where it all started, right?
I do admit, we were a little harsh on him, perhaps. But you have to admit, that anyone starting a thread like that, especially when they are relatively new and aren't even on a "joking around"-or even speaking- basis with the person they're proposing to, should expect some or a lot of negative feedback.
So...anyway, he left.
A few months later, he comes back, denies everything, acts like a jerk, and a pretty stupid one at that. A sensible person would say "Yeah, I was stupid. Let's put it behind us. I'd like to come back."
Instead, he prances in here, acts all "macho" and "tough" and expects us to, not only have no clue who he was, but also fall to his feet spewing out blithering praise.
When that didn't happen, he proceeded to call everyone a bunch of vulgar names.
Then we got to see the softer side of Tommy, the "Religious" side...which was more or less worse than his "SuperGhettoBadAss" Tommy-self.
Then what did we get? Tommy the Rebel? Tommy the "Let's all abandon Trag! Der! HAHAHA! LOL!" ?
He was a trip. That wasn't recieved well...I think he left for a bit after that.
And if I'm not mistaken, he's who he is now.
Let's explore that personage, shall we? He basically lurks around, exchanging lame insults with other people who, for the most part, have equally lame comebacks. It's sort of annoying to sift through, but did you guys notice that, well, most of the time, it's just other people throwing cliched insults at *him*? I don't know. I don't really like him, but he doesn't bug me anymore, because I usually avoid the threads he posts in, because, well, why bother reading them when you have to read pages of stale remarks about Tom? I only read this thread out of extreme boredom.
I have no idea if this was at all cohereant.
Whatever.
